I'm hoping Granlund to have injury free season and to get some more muscle to his frame this season. But I hope nothing but bad for IFK
I know, I know, but it's just as ridiculous to say things like; "IFK is terrible, SM-Liiga is crap herp derp i know it for sure even though i haven't even seen a single game"

BTW I heard Jokerit fans tried to pick up fights against the Swedish teams fans and yelled stupid/racist things to them. (Similar to the childish chants/Tifos of "Pissa på IFK" ) Heard it from a friend, who is Elitserien/Djurgården fan so could you as a Jokerit fan tell if it's true or not? (Assuming you were at the games)

SM-Liiga is tough league but I'm just saying that it's always hard to evaluate the teams in Europe level. Top SM-Liiga teams certainly are in the top but putting them in order (when they all are at their best especially KHL teams) is other story.

OT post: thank you, Finnish people, for bringing salty licorice to the world. In the last couple months I've ordered four boxes of pastilles and two bags of Tyrkisk Peber off of Finns on ebay. plan on making liquor out of one of those bags.

Is it addictive?

Yeah, you can drink that alot without getting eww reaction. Can't say same about tequila. Try to order couple bags of sisu horna and blend them. My personal favourite.

LOL.

Gambling kingpin: "So what do you want to do for our TV spot?"
Ad executive: "Well, here's my very first thought: we were thinking we'd have Mikael Granlund choose between three options.. but instead of picking one of the two good ones, he picks the bad one."
Gambling kingpin: "Like on 'Let's Make a Deal?"
Ad executive: "Yeah, except the groundbreaking twist will be Granlund picking a rugged, biker-looking guy instead of two pageant queens. Then he'll be like 'uh oh!'"

I bet that's almost verbatim of how the pitch went.

Lol, so random.

Jari Kurri just randomly standing there, Ilari Filppula as a Joker, Granlund choosing Jere Karalahti instead of two hot chics, and on the top of that Vesa Toskala... WTF?

Well, what can you expect, It's a betting company commercial.

Why is Karalahti there btw? He doesn't even play in the SM-Liiga next season, he went to KHL...

Don't know if you knew it, but the rugged, biker-looking guy is a former NHL defenseman Jere Karalahti. The ad is also filled with Finnish hockey people, but what's the point in it? I have no idea.

EDIT: Oh, heksagon was faster than me.

Big pressure on this kid, now even in TV commercials. But so far he has been lived up to it, hope that continues.
