I'm more upset about the 3 goals given up than the injured girl.

Long boring summer, just trying to liven things up around here.

How much longer until hockey again?

During the game, Hellberg had one of the worst defensive efforts in front of him and just about everyone on the team left him out to dry. Sure he is 6'5", but you can't stop every shot especially if you have zero help from the defense. The accident was unfortunate. He obviously didn't deliberately try to pelt a chick with the puck, he just tried to shoot it out - like most goalies do after they get a goal scored on them. This one just happened to get good air on it.

Sounds like Rinne. Remember when he used to get so pissed when our dmen would hang him out to dry?

He's still MAGNUS HELLBERG so I love him. Maybe a bit more now. He did apologize, after all.

I can't remember specifics but I do, vividly, remember Rinne talking **** to Klein or whoever for getting burned.

FWIW, Hellberg has been solid since returning to the lineup in spite of playing in front of a shoddy defense...

Yea it's been nice to see that this incident didn't deter his play. Very good sign considering goaltending is essentially more of a mental battle than a physical one.

I think that because nothing else is really going on, this was blown out of proportion by message boarders so that there was something to talk about
