Backstrom for Statsny??

This is a blockbuster to say the least. I've been crazy hesitant to pull the trigger, and thought some advice may be needed to help me make the right decision.

Side A gets:

Paul Stastny
David Perron
Sam Gagner
Andrew Cogliano
Peter Regin
Luca Sbisa
Chris Higgins
Justin Shugg

Side B gets:

Nicklas Backstrom (WSH)
Bryan Little
Guillaume Latendresse
Cam Fowler
Jamie McBain
Harri Sateri
Mid level prospect

Which side wins this deal.

It's a full keeper,

G, A, PIM, PPP, SHP, +/-, GWG
W, SV%, SHO, SVS, GAA

Any advice is appreciated.

I think its somewhat balanced... maybe a little favor going to side B. I only say this because Perron is still out with a concussion and there is no timetable for a return.
I looked at this more of stastny, Perron, McBain for Backstrom and Fowler which if I were team B I'd do in a heartbeat.

Fowler on ANA PP with Getzlaf-Perry-Ryan long term is consistent 55+ production and McBain is one of the most raw talented offensive D coming up the pipes....Backstrom riding shotgun to Ovechkin will produce between high 70's to low 100's where as Stastny in COL low 70's to mid 80's is all he will get...it's really not even close side B smokes side A

Side B is mine, and I've been hesitant because I think Backstrom is the best player in the deal. I see Perron and Gagner as having 70+ pt point potential.. but Fowler and McBain as being 50+ point dmen.

I really find it mind boggling when a person makes such an outlandish post that is so obvious it's one-sided, that people agree across the board that it's the one package of players. In this case package B. It's rhetorical and almost insulting.

Stop wasting my time! Challenge us with not such an obvious answer! This isn't even close. You should know better!

Rant over. Amen! God Bless Americanada!

Stay calm there bud. No need to go off on a holy tangent here! With such a big offer, and so many players possibly changing hands, it's nice to get a few opinions about the deal. I felt the same way, but I wanted to make sure my gut was right.

It's not like I was trying to find out the value of Ovechkin vs Patric Hornqvist here, it was a legitimate question to garner opinions. If anything, I'm glad there is an overwhelming consensus for side B. It gives me the confidence to A, rework this deal to even it out, or sway it in my favour a bit, or B, reject it completely and go along my merry way.

I appreciate all the comments thus far.
