There's something thoroughly exhilarating about seeing a GDT on this board after this off-season from hell. LGR! So unbelievably stoked.

Regarding the lines, the first line is a "possible line" according to Zipay via Twitter. I don't know if that means just doable or if it's possible to see in a game.

"McColgan-Bourque-Thomas possible NYR line for TCity. More from this AM's skate. www.newsday.com/sports/hockey/rangers/blue-notes-1.811976"
Zipay

Could be a good line.

Don't like the Jyri Niemi-Dylan McIlrath pairing, at all. Erixon & McIlrath should be the first pair D-men. Niemi is a waste.

I'd LOVE to watch an Erixon - McIlrath pairing...maybe the coaches want to spread the wealth?

Awesome, its a gorgeous building. Have you seen it since they did the renovations a year or so ago? It looks amazing now. Saw Yale play a russian traveling team last winter, my parents still work at Yale, but I sadly don't live so close anymore (3hours or so).

Niemi has a lot more experience then McIlrath at this point, so him, along with Parlett, McI and Erixon are the top 4 defenders. I think Parlett- Erixon is pretty good also, it could work.

Not one minute of hockey has been played this year and people are already complaining about the lines.

I think in years past, the conclusion has been drawn that the respective teams are less interesting in winning the tournament and more interested in getting an honest assessment and evaluation of their players.... If the Rangers were to stack their offensive lines and defensive pairings in the traditional sense, those players would probably soak up a bulk of the playing time, and the bottom line players wouldn't see much action and thus, the teams wouldn't get as much of a look at those players.... So to me, it makes sense what they're doing, even if on paper it doesn't..... I wouldn't be surprised if they rolled all the line combos fairly evenly.... Maybe they'll change things up if/when the games are tight, but I expect to see all playing getting ample amount of ice time....

Still no word on blackouts of NHLN in the NYC Metro area? Only reason I keep asking is that I don't have MSG HD and need to record the game.... Would want to record NHLN broadcast if we'll receive it here, and in HD.

Yes, NHL network will be picking up the MSG feed for the 4 Ranger games. But if you are in an area that gets MSG, it may be blacked out on NHL Network.

Turned that frown upsidedown? I have MSG at home but I'm glad all these other fans in different parts of the country will get to watch these games... I love that our players will be showcased, I hope some of our guys have phenomenal tournaments...

Hockey is hockey, but don't be upset if some of the prized prospects play poorly.

We have been waiting for this game for so long now. So pumped. I bet this TC GDT gets as many posters as most other teams do for regular season games. Ranger hockey baby.

Its like Christmas, the earlier you go to bed the night before, the earlier the day comes. With that, I am going to sleep.
