How many Active roster Players must a team ice for pre-season games?

How many Active roster Players must a team ice for pre-season games?

Hey, I recall from years past that a team must ice a minimum number of regulars along with their prospects for pre-season games.

this was most obvious last year when the islanders played two games at the same time, and splitting their regular roster in half.

I've looked all over the place and cannot find this regulation, anyone know what it is?

CBA. Article 15.3, paragraph d: 8 veterans (or 1st round draft picks from most recent draft)

Includes definition of # of games played, etc.
