I envy all of you. Freshman at college who doesn't have an xbox or a friend with an xbox. Too many PS3s.

Mine will be here tomorrow via Amazon. Can't wait. The demo was pretty good. So much harder to score this year it seems.

Nothing wrong with the PS3 version.

Rangers fans, but more importantly Jagr fan, coming in peace.
Hoping that Jagr gets 90-100 points so his rating goes from 83 to 90. I want to see him dominate this year to prove the doubters wrong (except for in the games against NY )

I guess $60 is more valuable to me than it is to you. I don't enjoy shelling out 60 bucks for minor game play improvements and bug fixes. These are all things that could be incorporated into a patch and fixed within weeks of release date.

There is nothing revolutionary about adding goalie interference. Quite frankly this should have been there since 09. They chose not to add things from the get go. How else are they going to get your money every year?

Not to mention the fact that to be any good in OTP you have to fork over even more money after you've already purchased the game. That is, unless you want to spend countless hours unlocking stuff, and maybe by December you'll be ready for OTP.

I remember the days when developers actually cared more about their game than how much money they could steal from people. Companies like EA and Activision (Call of Duty) are the worst of the worst. I try and keep my money out of their hands as much as possible. End Rant

I agree to a certain extent, and that's why I normally skip a year when it comes to the sports titles, didn't pick up NHL 11 and the difference between 10 and 12 is definitely noticeable.

I tend to do the same thing.

Simmonds is without a contract in the latest NHL 12 roster, does this mean he could be signed by another team if I play BAP?

That may only happen in NHL 12

And even still, you may need to turn it on rookie and put him on both PP units.

Does anyone know which rosters, if any, have Brown, Manning, Read, and any other missing prospects? I figure Laurisden and Placek would be in the NCAA which isn't in the game, but Read played for the Phantoms last year, he should be available.

funny how schenn is #18.

Does anyone know if there is any way to have a set roster for online.

They have talbot as the 2nd line center, betts as the 3rd and schenn as the 4th.

Why does Briere keep getting listed as RW? I thought he would officially be listed as a center by now.

this games pretty realistic

35 seconds into my game, Hartnell elbowed a guy (which resulted in a penalty) and then fell

The first time I played NHL 10, Hartnell boarded a guy for a game misconduct.

Me and my club think this is the best nhl by far. Its harder to score, ultimate team is fun, and, most importantly, we're good. We were playing 4s and 5s and we're 9-1 (the 1 is when the other team took the lead with .5 seconds left.) We've been a top 100 team since 09 but we all like this one the most. So far my best ultimate team players are: Downie, Vrbata, McRae, Mike Sauer, Niittymaki, and Parros. Some top prospects I have are Gianluca Curcuruto (1st round in upcoming draft probably) and Nicolas Therrien(Rangers)

360. On 09 we were: read (rank 30-50) 10: Blue Krew (top 5 for 3 months) 11: EAST COAST PHENOMZ (rank 50 for a couple months) 12: RIP Loko (not in elite yet)

I wish some of them would've been a little better. Blue Krew was by far the best but management problems led to one of the gms deleting the club. I joined read when it was high division 3. Probably my favorite was ECP because I was one of the creators and it was mostly 6s. Do you play 360?

Yeah. Haven't really had a steady club since early 09. Right now "we" have a club, but it only has 3 members. It typically ends up lasting for about a month or so, then people stop playing and caring.

Wonder how many hockey noobs/casual fans will think your RIP Loko team name is after the de-shelving of Four Loko's
