Sauer should be taking it very easy and not touch the ice until he is 100%, we have plenty of kids on defense who need to get some time in camp and preseason games like Erixon, McIlrath, Parlett, V-Tank, and Kundratek. Would love to see how some of these kids handle playing against NHL level players, although it seems the 5-6th spots are Erixon and Del Zotto's spots to lose.

A little upsetting McNaught did not get an invite at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got injured in the fight he had with Beach. He took a few good shots right on the button. I don't remember him playing a game after that, but I could be mistaken.

I am not sure Stajcer is going back to juniors. I can't remember if his team has an overage slot left.

His injuries involved (hereditary?) defects with his hips. But they were surgically repaired.

I don't believe, and correct me if im wrong, that he's had any history of knee problems.

he tore the ACL in the same knee that's bothering him now, but that's probably unrelated

Thanks. I didn't remember that.

Hopefully it isn't related.

Why isn't Parlett on the roster?

Thanks, thought I heard the announcers mentioning he may go back for an overage yr but I could of confused him with the other G in the tourney as well.

Regardless it looks like Talbot and Johnson in CT.

•Scott Stajcer.....OHL
Depends if his junior team has an overage slot left for him... I'd love to see him in the AHL, he had a good tourney in Traverse City

•Lee Baldwin.....NHL
You can only mean the Namibian Hockey League... Guy looked totally lost at Traverse... already being a Pro for one season...

•Jyri Niemi............CT
Given his showing in Traverse City, he'll probably be the 8th Dman in Hartford IF he survives the ECHL cuts

•Kale Kerbashian.....ECHL
Good showing in limited ice time in Traverse, with a bit of luck he's Whale-bound

•Shane McColgan........CT
Guy will be fun to watch!

•Matt Rust.......CT
ECHL max

•Kelsey Tessier......ECHL
He was in the AHL last year, he better be a little more consistent or he will end up in the ECHL

•Jason Wilson........CT
I say ECHL, too many better D ahead of him

•Andrew Yogan........OHL or CT
Hopefully CT...

Today's the "Test". Laps and more laps.

@TSNBobMcKenzie
6 laps as fast as u can, 6 times. Then 15 laps as fast as u can, 3 times = Camp Torturella

Just going to put up some quotes so far from today...

Quote:
thenyrangers Mike Rupp in conditioning tests "It lived up to expectations!"
Quote:
thenyrangers Derek Stepan "My mindset is that I have to earn a spot on this team. Just look at our roster"
Quote:
AGrossRecord Mike Rupp on today's testing: "Well, I made it. It lived up to its reputation. It was difficult."
Quote:
AGrossRecord Brandon Prust: will think about Derek Boogaard every day. Doesn't think fighting should be eliminated.
Quote:
AGrossRecord Ryan Callahan on European trip/early schedule: "It's a distraction only if you let it be."
Quote:
thenyrangers Brandon Prust "Cally is heart and soul of this team. He's our leader. The C is on the right shirt"
