They have enough players to make 4 teams...

It doesn't matter because next Monday, they probably gonna cut a third of them.

Ideas on lines are pretty clear

Cammy-Plek-Cole (team1)
Pacioretty-Gomez-Gionta (team2)
Moen-Eller-Kostitsyn (team3)

Team A should take it if vets go all-out, but they likely won't.

I'll go with Team C. I wanna see a DD-Gallagher-Bournival line! Sad that Gionta wasn't on that team too...

@nittany

I really wish he at least tries AK-Eller-DD before putting Moen with 2 offensive players again... Moen would be perfect on a 4th with White.

I hope it's going to be Desharnais - Eller - Kostitsyn.

I really hope Moen will not be playing on that line, Eller, DD and Kostitsyn played very well as a line last year and it gives us more of an offensive balanced team. Moen should be with White on the 4th line

Team A.

Cammalleri and Plekanec are probably our two most competitive fowards so you know they're gonna go hard at it.

I agree with you all on the Moen/Desharnais comments but I honestly have nightmares of the season starting with some retarded ass lines and I can't say I'm not warranted in having those nightmares. I call them night terrors. I wake up and I'm all like "it's okay it was just a nightmare, Moen isn't going to be playing a top 6 role".

Cammalleri Plekanec Darche
Moen Gomez Gionta
Pacioretty White Kostitsyn
DD Eller Cole

It's all about that balance y'know...

I see Moen-Eller-Kostitsyn. IMO Desharnais will have work his way up and earn the coach's trust before getting top 9 minutes at ES. I see him starting the season with bottom line ES minutes, but getting decent ice time on special teams.

Maybe Price and Budaj can also play 30 minutes each every game this year

Team A needs to trade for Woywitka and White then they can change their name to Team W, with White, Woywitka, Weber, Willsie, Winnett, and Walsh

Engqvist will be 4th line center barring a disappointing camp.

Same here but I can't deny the poster you're quoting is probably right in what will be the actual lines

Who sits then? Darche a guy who was on pace to score 20, filled every role he was told and is highly coachable? Plus was given another 1 way deal and more money?

White? A guy who earned his spot and barring an absolutely dreadful camp/pre-season should be on the team and has intangibles worth noting?

Or is it Moen? The most underrated guy on the team who could definitely play an alright role on the 3rd line worst comes to worst but is a solid veteran 4th liner worth keeping?

I really don't see who to knock out unless White has a terribad camp. Injuries = Engvist + Palushaj though don't get me wrong.

Might be the case, who would be the 13th forward?

I don't think so. I think the fourth line is going to be more crash/bang/shut down. Trotters small stature and offensive style of play wouldn't mesh well.
