Made a bacon weave. It was delicious.

Was making baked potatoes and needed crumbled bacon, figured I'd make it fancy before I was forced to crumble it.

There's plenty of Jack ... I just won't be able to drink it during weekday games.

Maybe I am young and naive, but the world sure seems to be going down the ******* lately...

1. Hockey players dying left and right
2. College students mocking ROTC members
3. Political video games allowing players to kill politicians in gruesome ways
4. A stagnant economy
5. On campus organizations being nice to you until you disagree with them about a policy. Then suddenly you are a bigot full of hate while the personal attacks rain down on you like stones
6. People not caring about the wars or the families of soldiers

Sucks man. And it bothers me greatly.

while all of this is true, sadly its nothing new.

all of the above sounds a whole lot like the 70's, for those of us who remember them...

I have the biggest craving for Karin's Kustard right now... if you've never been to Karin's Kustard, I suggest you make up a reason to go to Smyrna and go there, quickly.

I love that place. Good burgers and frozen stuff. And when winter gets here I go specifically for the chili. Good stuff coming out of that roadside shack.

Wow, who'd have ever thought we'd see "David Legwand" associated with Gordie Howe and Mario Lemieux? Cool, though.

Didn't want to create a brand new thread for myself so will post here:

Heading home in a few hours. Flying first to Tokyo-Narita, then San Francisco, then Boise. Will be in Boise for a week, then driving down to LA for my brother's wedding, then after the wedding going up to San Fran, then back to Taiwan.

All told will be in the States for 3 weeks.

You should secretly make your way over to Nashville for opening night.

That he is. I keep hoping he'll play an intermission for us. I've heard reports he has been at some Preds games.

Instead of playing "300 Violin Orchestra" at the start of the second period, I think we should play this:

Observation of the day:
Despite all the worries, at least Weber is actually under contract for training camp.

Poor LA fans.

I was absolutely horrified, completely and undoubtably horrified to find out that Miami University, my current university is having the Westboro baptist church here. They invited the church to come and talk to the head of the arts and science department while their followers hold a rally just south of campus. Although I am not big on the whole gay lesbian movement, I am big on their disrespect to soldiers families and disgusted that the university is inviting them hell paying them to come here. I will be writing a letter to the university president condemning their actions as well as write to the university paper.
