And New Jersey? Surely this list of teams in not complete... I highly doubt there is a group D with Jersey and Carolina.

I think it's a little different with the Jets since they could probably set every game to "A" pricing and they'd sell out. I think they're just trying to set a precedent for down the road.

Common practice and a great way for teams to maximize their profits.....This is the new world of big league sports and we have to follow the new rules...we are not in 1996 anymore

We have a small building and need to squeeze every dollar out of it we can!!!!! Good move by TN IMO

Guess I'll be going to any C game I can. I don't really care who we play, I just want to see some NHL hockey first hand.

That's my philosophy as well. Plus any games against the Canucks my mom and I are getting from my uncle's season tickets. Know a few people with season tickets, so might be able to go to a couple without having to pay for them.

I would think the only reason ANA is an "A" game is because of Temmu.

So what if he doesn't play that day? Would we be partially reimbursed to a b or c price range ?

I just noticed you can be in ANY part of Canada and even the world to enter this draw. I don't agee with this at all. This invites scalping. The form should be limited to people only living in Winnipeg or perhaps the jets regional territory to ensure the highest probable chance of real fans getting the tickets.

Winning names are not re-entered into the draw once they have been selected.
So, if we are drawn and get to go to a game, are we then allowed to re-enter our name or are we done for the season? I imagine chances would be slim of getting drawn again, but hey. Just wondering.

address is necessary in the form
after they get all the entries, i'm sure it would take next to nothing to run a query
only allowing R beginning postal codes

The deets straight from TNSE

EDIT: Here's a better one with the games broken down by package

Only allowing people for MB would be a killer for me! I moved from mb a year ago, and if I get the chance to get tickets to any game you can bet your *** I will be there. Doesn't matter that I live in SK.

Wouldn't make any sense to restrict it to people in Manitoba.

Only getting the opportunity to have your name drawn once is going to be a massive deterrant for anyone looking to scalp these.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering:

C games = 25% markup
B games = 40% markup
A games = 55% markup

So for the 25% vs. 40% question, looks like both are true.

I assume you mean next year unless you mean we might meet them in the finals

So, looks like 25%, 40% and 55% markups from ST price. Seems fair to start doing the pricing this way right off the bat. Otherwise there may (who am I kidding, would) be resistance to a multi-level price structure.

IMO it makes perfect sense to do it this way since a Monday or Tuesday game is definitely less valuable than a Friday, Saturday or Sunday matinee never mind the opponents. It'll make it easier to fill the building 10 years down the road.

Thanks for the info. Ticketmaster starts on Monday. I find it interesting that FLA has one game in the B category and one in the C. My guess is the B FLA game is because its a weekend game and perhaps a HNIC game?
