Lundqvist's New Mask

A new year a new mask for Hank. Again made by DaveArt. Similar to the past years ones but nice none-the-less.

To distract the shooters, clearly.

Dude i know ... a friend of mine got me stuck saying anything about a person like I'm a 40's movie producer... i saw a kid shooting hoops in the park the other day and yelled out "That kid's gonna be a STAR!"

Was hoping to see something a bit different this year. Almost identical to last year's masks. I liked his second half white base mask from last year.

Like ogie said, the glitter is FABULOUS lol. It looks pretty good on tv.

Because it looks really ****ing cool on TV and from a distance. Up close it looks "eh", but masks aren't meant to be viewed super up close.

I wish there was something other than the Statue of Liberty that symbolizes NY, I'm sort of tired of seeing it on all of his masks, but I do like this one.

IDK. A lot of masks have paint jobs that pay close attention to detail. I know my previous two masks were meant to be viewed from up close. But yea, other designs are really meant to be appreciated from a distance.

Mask isn't anything special but as long as he stops pucks, all is well.

How about a mask with John Wayne & Chuck Norris in their Rangers costumes?

Hanks a classy guy, likes to keep it simple. He has been going with the same basic concept for a long time. It's his trademark mask I don't think he'll ever change it.

That's one thing about the Rangers logo it's hard to do anything too wild with it.

when you click the link, the artist says he has been doing Lundqvist's makes since Henrik was in Juniors.

So he has been doing it for awhile. He said the lightning bolts is Lundqvists signature piece and will never get rid of it (been using it since Frolunda)

I like the mask.

He should use a spare tire as a helmet though with all the headers he does stopping pucks like that and all. lol
