lol that's awesome and congrats on getting the jersey.. Like I said earlier though, I just don't think I can wear it (and I had planned to for opening night).. I mean if something spilled on it or anything, I'd feel terrible.. I kind of just want to leave it in its original state

Yeah definitely put in a request for that one as well just in case.. Either way that's still a cool jersey

If there reports are true that Vasyunov was only gonna play 1 year there and then come back to New Jersey there is no doubt in my mind we will honor him properly.

He was still a Devil in my mind.. I knew he would be back, and was probably just looking for more playing time closer to home with a team he had previously played for

why does the khl even bother. like a swede would strongly consider the khl over the nhl. unless he sucks. hed sooner lob a grenade at the fat russians at the buffet on the viking line, to and from stockholm/helsinki than he would suit up for a khl team.

Here's a ****ed up way to look at it. If he decided to tell Lou to F off and stuff his no-bonus offer up his anus, and decided Skellefta shafted him with Erixon and Rundblad, he could have gone to the KHL and would now be dead too.

It`s an option. Tatar seriously considered moving to Russia after a year. He didn`t want to play for the Griffins, wanted to make the team (Detroit, lol, silly kid). I`m glad his mother slapped him, now he`s ready to step into the league.

Yeah, we've seen it. I find it amazing that he couldn't even get it up off the ground. There was something seriously wrong if it couldn't lift.

Hydraulic problems maybe? Considering knowledge that if a hydraulic failure occurs it can be serious enough to severly limit the operations of the aircraft

Its just horrible still hurts alot!

The plane carrying Lokomotiv couldn't take off because one of the pilots was applying breaks while trying to take off, investigators say.

Russia and investigations = really poor and pathetic

If the US done this or really any normal country they would have found out everything in a span of 2 weeks

I pretty much shrugg my shoulders at this.

It's Russia.

You knew the investigation was going to be "pilot error" before the investigation began (didnt I or someone else say this on one of the first pages? I'm too lazy to look back).

i find it hard to believe it was just "on" the entire time.

part of some pre-takeoff procedures is to apply the brakes and run up the engines a bit then release the brakes as you go to full power (or takeoff power).

it would be VERY hard not to realize the brakes were not released, so I'm wondering if there was an attempted rejected take-off and maybe a communication conflict between pilot and co-pilot. You would think the surviving flight engineer would know something about all this.

This just gets more and more mysterious.

Here is the finished product of my Lokomotiv memorial tattoo. The pics were taken right after the last session so it looks kinda funky but i'll repost after it heals.

Flame me if you want, but this is something I really wanted to do.
