I like the sound of Wolski - Richie - Gabby as our first line, on paper. However, they may get taken advantage of defensively. I think Feds would be the perfect fit on that line while leaving The Pack Line intact for its chemistry. 3rd line should be Wolski - Stepan - MZA...another line that showed flashes of chemistry last season.

Looks like Wolski gets first crack with Richards and Gaborik, as they're together on Red #NYR scrimmage team.

JimCerny Jim Cerny
Red Team features Gaborik, Richards, Wolski, Del Zotto, & Eminger; Green Team: Staal, Girardi, Avery, Anisimov, Zuccarello, & Rupp

NYDNRangers Jesse Spector
Avery starts with JT Miller and John Mitchell on Green team that started Rupp-Anisimov-Zuccarello.

AGrossRecord Andrew Gross
Red defense first pair: Del Zotto-Eminger. Girardi with Valentenko for Green.

Wolski hits Gaborik at own blue line with pass, Gabby goes up ice, rushes net and pushes it past Biron for 2-0 Red lead at first scrimmage.

Gabby looks inspired.

I would love for Gabby Richards Wolski to somehow have some great chemistry. It will make our team better.

also

AGrossRecord Andrew Gross
Mitchell with a shot as Green comes within 2-1. Avery may have tipped.

Looks like John Mitchell wants to be in NY, not CT

wolski with another goal, 2 goals and 2 assists for wolski in his first scrimmage against biron....4-2 red wins...well the first experiment with the first line sounds pretty successful so far.

I've put together a list following 22 Ranger-related twitters, incl. the known ones around here (Gross, Gianone, Zipay and others), some of the players (Biron, Prust among others) and even the guy who runs the Zamboni at the practice facility

Omg Wolski is going to be ****ing great. Is 60-70+ points a little to unrealistic?

After one practice scrimmage? Right now yes that is unrealistic.

I wish we could watch! Wolski-Richards-Gaborik sound like they are dominating, as they should be. However, I think I remember Frolov getting hat tricks in last years scrimmages.

I know that. I said this during the middle of the summer, he worked his ass off. I think theres going to be a big change for Wolski. & considering he had 50 points 2 years ago, good chances he can improve that. My expectations are super high for him. Like I said 60-70 points is what I expect from him.

Not to get too hyped on the first scrimmage of training camp, but Wolski, Gaborik and Richards does look to be pretty nifty. Let's see how it transforms into tougher opponents.

Whoa, hehe. Its a practice, which "means nothing" (unlike a regular season game, the opposition isnt out to hurt you ).

Wolski has never had more than 50 points in a season (if i recall), but i seriously hope he "clicks" with Gabby and Richards. If he does and produces steadily over the course of an entire season, then 50+ points is definitely within his reach, yes.

For the second time this was my expectations for the summer. Not just because of one scrimmage game..

I understand that

Its fairly simple as i see it, if he does fit on the first line, he'll get an awful lot of ToI, and that should (in theory at least) translate into a high point production (considering who his line mates would be, that alone should "bump it up"). So if he is a first liner throughout the season, 70 points is absolutely within reach.
