Who will dress for the Jets vs Blue Jackets exhibition game tuesday?

Like many, I will be at the Blue Jackets game on Tuesday and my buddy was telling me that he had heard the Jets would be maybe dressing Scheifele, Byfuglien and Kane for the game but I can't find any links or confirmations about this. Has anyone heard who the Jets will dress and maybe who the Jackets will bring even though im sure they will keep their superstars at their home game? Who would you all want to see dress?

We'll probably not know until the Jets recent the rosters for the two games. I guessing that won't come out until tomorrow afternoon.

Just now getting around to listening to the Illegal Curve podcast from this past Saturday. The guys were saying that the players from group "A" will be playing in Winnipeg and those in group "B" will be in Columbus. They also mentioned that lots of changes could happen.

Don't know how accurate this info is, but the IC guys are generally pretty reliable.

It will nice to see some of the draft picks particularly Scheifele against NHL competition, can't see many of the top vets playing until later into the ex. schedule.

You can find the list of players in each group on the Illegal Curve website. Here's a link to the page with the lists:

Don't know if anything's changed, but a few days back IC posted that Group B would be playing here:

Quote:
-From Friday the 17th, until Wednesday the 21st, there are 3 groups for daily practices, Group A, Group B and Group C.

-Starting Thursday, September 22, there are only two groups of practices

-There are two scrimmages, Group B vs. Group C on Sunday the 18th, and Group A vs. Group B on Monday the 19th,

-Group A will be the split squad that will play in Columbus, while Group B will remain here.
http://illegalcurve.com/2011/09/14/w...camp-schedule/

So it sounds like by that point, they'll be reduced to just group A & B, thus the rosters will change from what is now known as groups A & B.

We should know tonight or tomorrow who is going where on Tuesday.

Quote:
The Jets will reformulate their training camp groups today as they prepare for Tuesday's double-game scenario. Winnipeg will send one team to Columbus, Ohio, to play the Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena, while another squad will stay home and play the Blue Jackets at the MTS Centre

The guide says Group A, but that will probably change and they'll send whoever they want. We will know more details tomorrow.

Every game including pre-season will be broadcast on TV. The only exception may be the game in Columbus on Sept 20 but the game in Winnipeg will be on TSN Jets.

I see that Klingberg tweeted recently that he was leaving for Columbus tomorrow and he falls under Group B so that would so far make sense. Of course revisions could be made.

The Jets are sticking with no comment until later today on rosters...

http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/spo...130102003.html

"THE Winnipeg Jets decided Sunday to keep their first exhibition game lineups under wraps.

The team will reveal today which players will skate where for the pre-season contests at the MTS Centre and in Columbus, Ohio, against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It's safe to say the Jets will ice a decent lineup at home, hoping to make a good first impression on their giddy fans."

dankamal Dan Kamal
Hainsey, Kane, Slater, Thorburn, Stapleton, Wheeler, and Mason will be among the familiar faces I'll see tomorrow in Columbus.

I am personally looking 4wrd to watching Burmistov and Bogo from last years team and evaluating the prospects gregoire/schiefele/POstma / and Kulra as well as try out finn Janne Pesonen.

As expected we are icing a pretty decent team in comparison to Columbus. I would be surprised if Columbus won. I was going to find a good pun to relate to one of their d-men named Grant Clitsome.. but I will abort mission and leave that one for someone more witty.

Not surprising. From Saturday...
Quote:
- The Blue Jackets will likely reveal the lineups for Tuesday's home-and-home with Winnipeg, but this much is certain: left winger Matt Calvert, a native of Brandon, Manitoba, will be in the lineup. "Are you kidding?" Arniel said. "Matty's parents would probably shoot me if I didn't play him up there."
http://www.bluejacketsxtra.com/conte...amp-day-1.html

The CBJ also have a game at home on Wednesday versus Washington. The "big guns" are playing in that one - Nash, Carter, Mason, and Tyutin aren't listed on either roster for Tuesday.
