Stan: oh my god! He killed the thread!
Kyle: you *******!!

We should keep a list of players still part of the camp and those who've been cut

I hope Berger will feel the urge to prove he's a good fighter and drops hem.

I just want to see him hit and crash the net.

You have to be a good fighter in the first place in order to prove that.

Well he could be, just as the entire Mapple Leafs team could be playoff warriors for what we know.

Surprised that Dietz got sent down. All the accounts I've read said that he had a solid camp.

Management probably wanted him back in Junior playing top line minutes with Saskatoon.

This. And overlords should be responsible for keeping the OP up to date with this information. Pfft slacker... guy calls himself overlords, you just know he doesn't do much behind the scenes.

His track record in the OHL isn't half bad actually. At the very least he's willing to drop em and definitely hits hard.

Some guys who follow the OHL said he was a pretty good fighter.

This article seems to say he is being kept out of the training.

A small injury. I think his place on the team is pretty much assures, be it as the 13th forward or otherwise.

I'm excited for tonight to get a chance to see some guys in action. Diaz and Berger both seem exciting. Yemelin is gonna try to make a point out there and he'll hit everything that moves. I'm pretty sure that, after the first scrimmage, management told him to keep his hitting for the other team so I'm sure we'll see some tonight from him.

He's a big guy and only did "alright" in the OHL.

I'm hoping we get to see him park his ass in front of the net.

Does anybody have any information on tomorrow's team against the Sabres? I'll be going to the game and I'm curious to see who's going to play.

Lars Eller doesn't like his chances of playing pre-season games. His presence for start of the season is compromised.

You mean the Sabres? Tonight is the Stars.

Judging by injuries, who's playing tonight and how many vets they're dressing, you'll likely see these guys:

Pacioretty, Gionta, Desharnais, Darche, Moen
Subban, Spacek, Gorges
Budaj, Mayer

A bunch of the junior players not playing tonight will also probably get a look because they'll probably be part of the next wave of cuts, so maybe guys like Beaulieu, Gallagher and Bournival.

Yes, the Sabres haha. Figured these would be the names I'd see, I wasn't sure how it'd turn out with these injuries though.

Thanks Frog... erm, Bill.

i'd rather have him play good solid hockey in front of the net instead of getting his face punched in (not that great a fighter)

NP.

Our center depth should be atrocious tomorrow with Eller and (likely) Gomez out. Martin could use Pleks again, but no sense in risking another injury to that position in the pre-season.

I am however looking forward to the possibility of Desharnais, Gionta and Gallagher all being on the ice at the same time.
