I have a question!

How is Adam Jnok doing? / Do you think we'll get him back soon?

I was actually really impressed with janosik, he really looked good to me, i was surprised with how physical he was. Another year in juniors and then one or two in the minors should really develop him nicely

Nothing new but confirmed by the team:

Scott Jackson (offseason knee surgery, out indefinitely)
Charles Landry (upper body, day-to-day)
Dustin Tokarski (mid body, day-to-day)

He's got a hell of a shot too. We're really missing him on the powerplay.

Oh absolutely, I think you'll love him in a couple of years. For now, we need our Alternate Captain back

Is there any chance we get him back for Friday? We're playing Boisbriand, a team that beat us 7-0 last Friday. Rousseau is great, but we're without Jnošk and our captain, who's still at the Sens training camp (Pageau). We really need that veteran presence back.

Well he got sent down yesterday so i would have to think that he would be ready to play by friday. If i were him i would definitely want to start playing as soon as possible. Nice to hear that he is a leader to with the A on his sweater, this guy just keeps getting better

I might as well keep hyping him up!

The night we lost in the finals last year, Jnok scored with less than two minutes remaining to give us the lead in game 6. Saint John ended up tying it in the last minute and winning in double overtime, but there's no questioning pn Jnok's clutchiness.

Excellent!

For the record, the lad from Spisk Nov Ves also shares a surname with Slovakia's national hero!

Slovakia's national hero is a highwayman?

Thought it was interesting that Yzerman said during intermission that this will be Namestnikov's last season in London. I guess they think he's not too far off from being ready to make the jump to the AHL.

He's a Robin Hood figure. Besides that, he's a symbol of resisting oppression. He is an Austrian army deserter who primarily stole from the Maďar and Maďarone nobility. Slovakia was a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, partially unwillingly, partially uneasily. The Maďars weren't exactly nice to the Slovaks. To give you an idea of this, the Slovaks fought for the Hapsburgs (Austria) when the Hungarian nobles rose up against the empire in 1848 (Slovakia was a part of the Hungarian half). The Slovaks and Czechs also fought on the side of the allies in WWI, despite formally being a part of Austria-Hungary.

He'll be 19 this November and 20 next year before December 31st so he could play next season in the AHL.

Is Seth Griffith still in camp or not? I saw a tweet earlier that said he was sent back to juniors but he's in this line-up.

He's been returned to juniors. That lineup was correct as of the time it was posted.

He received some praise from the head coach at training camp and will play his first preseason game tonight.
