I'm breaking my own rules of sports watching hierarchy. Usually for me when multiple teams are playing at the same time Playoffs>Regular season> Preseason. But since the Phils look so lifeless and are playing meaningless baseball lately and I haven't seen the orange and black in a while I guess I'll check out this game.

Phillies already have everything clinched up so I am watching this. They better start scoring some damn runs by the time the playoffs start.

They have not had their entire lineup in there for the last few weeks though so I am not to worried.

Meh. In time.

I try not to expect much from the first week of pre-season from the main roster, because guys are just trying to get their legs under them.

Expect a little more from the guys fighting to make the team though, obviously.

I was just at Kings camp yesterday and was saying to this cat that every time I see jersey 10 I immediately get a but depressed cuz Schenn is gone. Then I remember who's wearing it now and it makes me feel a bit better.

I still miss Schenn though. He looks damn good so far tonight. You guys are in for a treat.

Agreed. That's why I'm only a bit disappointed.

Most impressive player from either team has been Reimer thus far. Good thing I have him in fantasy.

Watching the Leafs feed - they only know the names of the NHL guys for the Flyers. Simmonds on the breakaway pk no less. The team looks good. It is the Leafs though...

Simmonds will score a couple of those breakaways too. Great physicality and a lot of heart.
