I know it's only pre-season but if the Flyers are this fast during the season it will be fun to watch.

I don't know if it's because the guys in the rookie game were so slow, but EVERYONE looks fast haha.

Good period for the Flyers. Especially when it comes to speed and goaltending. Bob looked awesome.

"Specialty" teams??

This sounds like a high school production. The NHL should be ashamed.

I swear I saw a 14 out there but I am not wearing my glasses so I could be wrong, can't find it in the box score, any ideas?

What? You never noticed Carter do the patented forehand-backhand deke every single time!

I love Time Connolly on the Leafs. Orr running around, Rosehill throwing elbows, all those tough guy heros out there - Leaf games are always going to be chippy - he will be lucky to play 30 games with that melon of his.

Bowen also said Reimer was "up to his old tricks" after the Reiminister of Defense line. What old tricks? The kid has 37 career NHL appearances.

i know its early but i get the feeling that Couts looks a bit over matched physically. I really think its in his best interests to play in juniors this season.

He will.

I never thought he had a chance with his skating and thin frame.

Someone asked earlier. The Flyers have had a white "C" on the white jersey in the past.

Definitely. We have zero need to rush him into the NHL anyway.
