Afleet Alex is lingering in the back of the pack.
Jeremy Rose has yet to make a move on him and he's running unstrongly.
Giacomo leads but...
Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still.
Afleet Alex is opening up with a tremendous burst of energy. He's five lengths in the lead.
A compelling outstanding performance by the plucky Afleet Alex. He won by six or seven lengths.

Let's win this one too. Will Bob be playing the whole game again?

Hyka-Giroux-Hartnell
Read-Schenn-Talbot
Holmstrom-Betts-Shelley

For some reason I'm really nervous about Bryz's debut even though it's only the preseason.

Homer says Hyka will play tonight. Turns out he wasn't cut, as Flyers initially announced

Edit:
Every time I hear "Welcome Home" by Metallica I think of the Danny Briere commercial where he shoots at the glass.

Last night I tried to listen via the iPhone app for wip but just got baseball talk instead? They also said the callsign was 94wip. Did they split the am/fm station, and is there a link that allows us to listen to the am side for the game? I'm not local obviously.

WIP replaced a rock station on FM that is 94 FM. The station remains on 610-AM as well. There was supposed to be an internet link for the broadcast last night but it never happened. The Flyers' site tonight lists 610 WIP as the radio carrier and usually a link is posted on the Flyers' site late afternoon. Even in regular season games, the Flyers' site provided a link to the WIP broadcast but the link on the WIP website would air a taped show from earlier in the day. Listeners would have to go through NHL.com (the Flyers' site specifically) to get the radio feed. Sometimes, the WIP site would provide a link to the Flyers' game but it was behind in real-time by about a minute or so.
