Please. That roster is *almost* as good as the roster the Devils will be icing in the regular season.

The first cut happens after friday's game. They wanna get a look at the rookies in game situations.

I enjoyed watching the Traverse City prospects. I'm gonna enjoy watching tonights game to see them one more time.

Looks like Hagelin has moved to the top spot in rookies maybe making the cut. Which makes sense considering the circumstanes. He's one of the more seasoned prospects with 4 years of college behind him. He's a bit older, taller, and stronger than his counterparts. Has the size to go along with that speed Torts covets. Had a good TC showing that has continued in camp. And since there is only a 3rd line spot open, it fits nicely with his projection as a bottom six energy type player.

Can't wait to hear the new MSG Ranger's intro music. I would guess it would be something new right?

I concur. Have been a fan of Hagelin's hustle since last camp; with the extra seasoning, he should push out Avery or EC or somebody.

I thought teams had to have 8 NHL players in the pre season games? I only count 7 on tonight's roster.
