Another thing to take into account as well is that Plymouth and Noeson play tomorrow night, Petes and Puempel Thursday, and both Ottawa and Prince and Gatineu and Pageau don't have games until Friday

I thought Stone showed some good speed last night. This was the first time I had ever seen him play though..and had heard he wasnt overly fast. If he bulks up, he can be a serious threat...especially with clouston coaching him

They need to cut Locke, he was god damn awful against Boston. It's over, he can't make it in the NHL. It sucks for him but he's a fantastic AHL player, nothing wrong with that!

Agreed and it's not like he's hurting with a 250,000 salary in the AHL.

Also if you go back and read ok'd threads in HFboards from after he was drafted and on it's all the same complaints it's like he just can't get over that jump to the NHL level

I saw a interview with Maclean where he said none of the Bingo guys will be cut till at the earliest after this weekend due to there camp not starting for awhile.

I assume we'll see him against Montreal. I was hoping he'd play with Zibanejad against Boston, but alas..

"At last report, only Brenden Kichton has returned of the four players the Chiefs sent to NHL camps, leaving the roster shy of Darren Kramer, Blake Gal and Dominik Uher."

That article is from September 20. It sounds like Kramer is still part of camp, he wasn't part of that last group of cuts. He was injured at the start of camp so that may be while he is still around. Or they think he might be ready for the AHL and want to give him a better look. There really isn't any info out there.

Prince has been cut, I expect the same with Pageau after tomorrow, they need to be developing in the CHL right now.

The Senators are expected to announce more cuts after their training camp sessions today.

Joy reported on her blog that Rundblad might just head back to Sweden if he doesn't make the cut to get into the NHL.

yeah, that would be a dumb move imo. best thing for him would be to go play under KK in bingo and get used to the north american game on na ice. He may even be ready mid season. he's already done everything he can in the sel.

KK probably won't be here next year. should take advantage while he can.

Going back to Sweden in Zibanejad's case would work out fine since it would give him the chance to bulk up and become a more confident player. Rundblad on the other hand simply dominated the SEL last year and is only hindered in NA due to his inexperience on the smaller ice. Going back to Sweden for another year would be a waste of time and simply hinder him, at some point he is going to have to learn to play on the smaller NA ice so he might as well do it now.

Highly doubt management would want Rundblad go to Sweden. It's not like he has anything left to prove over there. Start him in Bingo like with EK and bring him up for injuries/when he's ready.

Yeah.

I'd say he's clearly having difficulties playing the game that he hasn't had any issues with in some time. Loss of confidence, each question is answered with an "I dunno" kinda answer.

I can only imagine how difficult an adjustment like this is, and I think we're just assuming he's having trouble with the ice, but I think it's safe as he really does look like that's the problem. I always had a feeling it would be a tough adjustment.

I assume he's going to Binghamton no matter what, doubt it would be an issue.

Management didn't want Silfverberg to go to Sweden but he's still there, obviously different circumstances but they can't make him go to Bingo.
