As long as they don't move us to Brooklyn, I'm cool with it.

You really must have been one of his clients when we sold crack, because the dude has money, but not money like that man. He may have that VALUE, but not at all the cold, hard, cash. Especially with what he's probably losing in the meantime on that Nets investment. he's just lucky he has KGB money over top of it.
As for the article...gotta love the spin on the POST. Frankly, I suggest HF take a stance, in that, generally speaking they're an invalid source and should not be considered one.
I realize the real info is in there, but their tabloid reporting is purely awful.

Good News
and thanks again JOSH KOSMAN for making it sound like the team is a losing proposition.

Why? Wasn't Vanderbeek was already the controlling owner with his previous stake?

Why do you say that? He's not going anywhere because of this.

This has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on Lou's status with the team. He will be here until he decides he no longer wants to.

Lou's not going anywhere until his retirement, which isn't far away anyway.

I dont think it's a secret that JVB and Lou have had their rifts over the past couple years. I think most of us know that Lou was forced to re-sign Kovalchuk. Also, JVB wants to be much more fan friendly, something Lou and co. havent quite grasped the concept of yet. Idk, I wouldnt be surprised if Lou gets fired soon or "retires"

That'd seriously be badass if we got some random Russian Billionaire to buy up the rest of the team.
Here's how our top 6 would look like in a couple years
Kovalchuk-Malkin-Semin
Ovechkin-Datsyuk-Zharkov

What about that guy who owns the Nets... maybe he's a Kovalchuk fan.

When he visited the prudential center he noticed the painting of Festisov and knew who he was.
Looks like we've found our man

Why would Chambers pay money?

Toquitoes wins an internet.
Vanderbeek wins a hockey team.
Chambers frees himself from debt.
Who loses here?
