My problem with posts like that one on NJDevs(and yeah he has the picture), is 1) how do I actually know what is said in the conversation, and that this isn't just BIGGGG NEWWWZZZ to make yourself look good... and 2) if it is legit, how the hell do you have a conversation with someone like that and just splatter it all over the internet?
Also, how do we know Chico doesn't talk out his butt? Like a guy who knows half a story but thinks he knows the whole thing?
A few people had "Chico was bizarrely candid with me stories" so it at least seemed reasonable Chico could have said it.

I didn't believe it personally. Aside from a few posters here who just want to pass along what they hear to be nice, I don't really believe random strangers on internet who claim someone connected to the team said they know a players intentions. Like you said, who has a conversation with someone and than splatter it over the internet?
Besides which, you can bet Chico's been instructed to keep his mouth shut just like everyone else.
I do not understand. I thought Vanderbeek was going to buy it from Chambers. So why is Chambers paying 25 mil?
If this situation is true? He's paying $25M as the downpayment on the refinance and then absolving himself of ownership and basically handing it over for nothing. His "payment" for his half of the team is freedom from debt.

I dont think it's a secret that JVB and Lou have had their rifts over the past couple years. I think most of us know that Lou was forced to re-sign Kovalchuk. Also, JVB wants to be much more fan friendly, something Lou and co. havent quite grasped the concept of yet. Idk, I wouldnt be surprised if Lou gets fired soon or "retires"

I don't see this as good news, for Chambers to buy himself out is very worrisome... I wouldn't even be shocked if Vanderbeek sells all of his stake in the team
