I agree. I think there have been some spots where his inexperience has shown, but nothing too serious. Ellis on the powerplay could be freakin' deadly.
I agree, he will be deadly on the PP. He has a helluva pump fake. I think he has a high chance of making the team
perfect Ellis, how has the rest of the team looked? im dying with this restricted viewing area.
The only goal Rinne let up was a fluke that changed directions twice, once off of the leg of Spaling who was trying to block it.
Pickard has looked shaky. At times he is playing solid. Redirecting his rebounds nicely and such. He does play a kind of aggressive style. He needs some more time to say the least (Spaling almost scored just now). The PP has looked good. Ekholm is quiet, but good. Seems a bit sluggish. Maybe it's just tonight. SK has looked good. Legwand has looked good. Wilson has looked excellent. Hornqvist is being Hornqvist. Tootoo is looking just like the Tootoo from the play offs. His goal was all him. He worked that entire shift to get that goal, and then at the end took the puck from someone and put it in. Great stuff. Hillen has looked pretty good. Stortini works out there. Weber and Suter are Weber and Suter.
Tootoo has looked great, I have really liked Ekholms play. And Stortini is a standout. Wilson, Leggy, Horny, SK, Erat have all played well and looked good on the PP.

Thanks for the updates, I like what i hear so far. No surprise with Pickard i think he will be a long term project (no big deal to us really) Out of all that the bolded is the best news to me. If we get a full season of a Tootoo like you've mentioned, that will be awesome for the preds. Glad to hear wilson is looking good along with Ekholm.

Tootoo is looking very, very good. Like I said, on that shift Tootoo was banging around, forechecking hard, and finally caused a turnover. He didn't hesitate to toss the puck on net.
Kevin O'niell, or however you spelled your name, you are hilarious. You clearly have switched alliances, and I'll remember this post of yours, moderator or not.
It's preseason, and we didn't ice all of our strong performance players anyways. I'm not concered by this outcome in the least.

why is him switching alliances surprising or a big deal? Id say he's not too concerned about who know it..
I suspect we will have a lot of Thrasher fans on board by the end of the season

Sorry boss. I was an Atlanta Thrashers fan. Kinda like how I didn't see many Jets fans bang the Phoenix Coyotes gong.
Bottom line...I really don't care. Hockey's a game played by overpaid adults. It's not life or death.

...And just so you'll know...I could very well consider this moderator abuse OR a threat, which is against site rules, but I'm not going to. In other words, drop it.
Um... I don't know what to make of this Jets fan...
Anyway, this was our fourth pre-season game. I think it's easy to tell who the coaches are looking at closely. Ellis, Ekholm, Laakso, and Hillen all made good cases for themselves
