Easily the best Pumpkin flavored beer I've ever had.

Deliicious.

I love practically every beer Dogfish Head makes, I just wish they weren't so god damn expensive.

I had a lot -- and I mean a lot -- of Pearl St.'s Oktoberfest last night. Eight pints that I know of, perhaps another or two that I wasn't paying attention to. Glad I took the train...

Anniversary Gift

Hey everyone, me and my girlfriends 4 month Anniversary is coming up, and I figured why not get her a Sabres something. (I'm moving up to Buffalo/in with her) and I figured. I follow them closely but I need some help. What do you think I should get her? Would a jersey be right? Or a purse.. slippers? That fuzzy hat with the horns... Not sure. Help appreciated. Thanks.

You can't go wrong with a jersey. They're pretty expensive though, especially if you get a name on it. Personally, I never get names on my jerseys just in case that player gets traded. After 4 months though I don't know if you would want to drop that much money on a gift. However I'm probably not the best person to take advice from in that department seeing how I'm still single and incredibly cheap. I guess the two go hand in hand

Just a thought, the fact that you're picking up your life after dating for 4 months is already a huge huge ... Huge gift.

I think PK has a pink jersey lying around she might be able to interest you in...

You really can't go wrong with a jersey. Any idea who her favorite player is?

And have you thought about tickets to a game? The Sabres put up birthday and anniversary announcements all the time on the jumbotron, though I'm not sure who to contact about that. I'm sure one person here has to know.

I have no money *aforementioned* for a game, jersey yes. She likes Ennis but she's got one of those already. She also likes McCormick, but I'm not sure if he's still with them

He is, and his contract runs through this year. He should be the 12th, maybe 13th forward this year. If you can afford it it would be a really awesome gift.

I think a pretzel and a beer at the game is pretty fair for a 4 month anniversary.

Just a note to keep in mind for any future annivesary/birthday stuff...

There is a link to do it on the Sabres website under the "fan zone" area.

If you are a season ticket holder (or have one set it up for you) it is free... if not there is a small fee (I'm not sure how much because the only one I've ever done was at a Bandits' game and I'm a STH for them)

As to the OP question... I would say for 4 (official) months go smaller... a t-shirt etc... a jersey would be better for a 1 (official) year... if you go big at 4 months you only need to go BIGGER at 1 year and further.
