So Cuma and Bulmer are the only two notable guys who might make a debut for the team this year? I think Cuma just got cut but I'd guess he'll get some games at some point if he stays healthy.
Starting next year, the following 2-4 years should be interesting.

Pending injuries, we could see a couple games out of Hackett as well.

Yes i agree it should be very interesting. I am excited to see how Bulmer handles the NHL if he does stay up for a regular season look. I have a feeling between him and Clutterbuck we are going to be a disliked team. I just hope Bulmer doesn't cause any problems in the lockerrooms with his antics.

Except no one REALLY hates Clutterbuck.

But I have a feeling Bulmer might grow a bad reputation with other teams, he's already starting to get some blood boiling with his own team

If we ever put Bulmer and Clutterbuck on the same line, we're going to need a thug at center or D.

Tyler Graovac looked amazing for the 67s yesterday. Had an absolute snipe for his goal and also added an assist. He was all over the ice yesterday.

He's sounding more and more like a great later-round find. Good to hear.

Guys, Jets fan here...how has Chay Genoway looked? If anyone is interested, this is one great kid.

He is really small, and played at Shattuck. Then he ended up in the BC Junior League, because Vernon would let him play defense. He thought be might not make the team - but ended up playing 30-40 min per game, and was an all-star.

He is a really good student, and he got a couple of college offers to Alaska and Cornell. Late in the game, UND came to him - no promises - just a shot to come try. Well, he ends up being a 40 minute per game defenseman, academic all-american, captain of the Sioux, leader of team in everything from fitness to school performance (little sniff of Hobey Baker consideration).

Intersted to hear how this never say can't little dude is faring against the biggest, strongest and fastest? Can he play in the AHL? Would he ever get a sniff at the NHL?

It doesn't make any sense, but he seems to excel/suceed at every level. I personally know that lots of NHL people really like the kid. Wondering how he is showing during this Wild process...thanks, and good luck to the Wild this year!

If we could only get Brad Marchand to center them

Genoway will start the season in Houston (AHL). He had good and bad moments in camp and at Traverse City. He's got some things going for him but he's certainly got odds stacked against him. He does some things well enough where if the Wild were to sustain some injuries on the backend, he may be a call up at some point. He's a threat from the point in the offensive zone and on the PP and that's something the Wild do lack up and down the organization at this time. So there's a chance. He's got to elevate his game at this point to get there, though.

And with that, I will close this thread. Jarick has made the new thread and will be keeping track of the prospects' scoring in his first post. So that will be our new Prospect Thread.
