PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

We’ve still got to get to work, start building toward the season. I’m getting to know my linemates, my teammates.
There will be other steps so it will get more exciting as I go. We want to be a lot better.
- Brad Richards

When Richie has the puck, he’s always looking. We created chances at even strength and on the PP.
It was only the first game and obviously we have things to work on, but I thought it was good.
- Marian Gaborik

I thought our D played fairly well at times. And then there were some struggles.
Guys like Bell and Erixon have to understand how we play and just get used to it again.
I thought we had some really good shifts with our back end and some struggles with our back end.
- John Tortorella

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

PROJECTED LINES:

Lines TBA, confirmed roster:

F: van Riemsdyk, Giroux, Jagr, Talbot, Briere, Voracek, Nodl, Zolnierczyk, Read, Schenn, Simmonds, Rinaldo, Betts, Couturier, Sestito.
D: Timonen, Gustafsson, Carle, Meszaros, Coburn, Walker, Lilja.

*Healthy Scratches:

Again no Blake Parlett on D... would have loved to see him vs. NHLers

Hoping Mitchell and Deveaux do well, I like both...

Hoping to see Jagr tomorrow, will be good to have a preseason game against him this way I can start training myself to hate him

Fans need preseason too, right?

MSG is televising 3 of the 4 European pre-season games. They won't be televising the Thursday afternoon game.

Unless Henrik stands on his head, Bryz fails, and Dubi goes beast mode, we're screwed

Alright thanks.

That sucks, the one day I can actually watch the game it won't be televised, I have to miss the rest of the games.

Gonna have to watch the encore sadly.

Yes it is.

The Rangers play the 7th and 8th, then don't play until the 15th at the Island and then go on an extended west coast trip.

Ah, the game at the mausoleum. Can't wait for that. I could imagine it being packed with rangers fans. Why would anyone in ny not go? Got tix in the second row for like 50 bucks

Damnit, back to the ****** lineup. Just start the season already. Now I know how Isles and Leafs fans feel having to watch ****** lineups.

I think it's fun watching a weaker lineup. It's only preseason after all. I enjoy seeing some of the fringe players/prospects playing way over their heads.

Obviously, I would not want to see this lineup for the regular season, but this game means nothing. Might as well see who can hack it the best against (presumably) better players.
