It certainly is going to be entertaining and will bring more attention to young talent. Liverpool should do well.

Thanks.

From your Top10, I haven't seen enough of Tabanou, but you've given quite a rise in rankings for him.

A bit surprised that you don't have much belief of Nkoulou improving, I tend to think he could come great still, but we'll see how he does this season.

Yeah I still think he could develop, but it's been two years that I've been disappointed. We'll see.

Tabanou is really exciting. He really impressed last season.

haven't heard of most of those prospects, except for the top 20. I hope that liverpool buys dejan lovren, sounds like he could possibly be a world class CB.

16 year old Mbaye Niang scored for his first U21 cap (remember he scored in his first pro game as well). What a phenom !

Barça B beat Cartagena 4-0 yesterday. Alejandro Grimaldo, who already played very well with the first team in the Copa Catalunya against Espanyol, put in a really good performance from all accounts. The kid is a 15 year-old LB who used to play out on the wing when he was younger. Rafa Alcantara, Thiago's younger brother is also doing very well. Plenty of talent in the B team despite the departures in the Summer.

That's Grimaldo on the left flank and Rafa is the scorer. Deulofeu came on and made a nice run to set up another goal.

Arsenal's Alex Chamberlain impressed tonight. Came on at half-time against Israel U21s with England losing 1-0. Had a hand in all 4 second half goals, although he did sell the penalty well.

Everton's Ross Barkley started and was one of the better players. Rodwell was one of the worst. Marvin Sordell (Watford) scored a beauty with his left foot, quick turn then blasts it in from 30 yards. Will try find a youtube.

Injuries mostly. He even retired because of it two years ago. He also coped with mental issues as he couldn't take the pressure of being a pro football player. I believe he was the third most expensive teenager behind Seedorf and Robben in the Eredivisie when he moved to PSV back then. Too bad, he could've been competing with Sneijder and van der Vaart for a spot in Oranje.

Hey Evilo, I've got a huge challenge for you that's out of your element. Find me the top 5 LEGIT Italian prospective wonderkids (<20 yo)/very good prospects for a 2014 WC team. I'm racking the ole brain and wow, I really realize Italian football is in deep trouble. Very depressing.

Edit: Sorry, potentially out of your element only because I know you're the master of French prospects mainly.

I think Italy is the way up. Poli, Balotelli, Contento, Santon, Sirigu, Destro, El Sharaawy, Giovinco, these are good youngsters.
Frankly, two years ago, I thought they were due for a long drought. Now I think they have what it takes to replace their old guard (Buffon, Totti, Nesta, etc...). There will be a couple of years where the transition will be hard, but they remind me of Germany a while back (went from great to awful to great again in a few years).

I hope AC actually plays El Shar though and not waste his talent. Balotelli is just too immature mentally for international play, but that could change, so we'll see on him. Santon has lost all kinds of momentum unfortunately, I was very high on him before too but Inter wasted him and injuries hurt him quite a bit. I am excited for Poli, Sirigu, Destro, and Contento though.

I think Ranocchia, Criscito, Poli, Cassani, maybe Rossi will take over full time by the 2014 WC.

I can say great things about Sirigu. He's been exceptionnal on his line. He's not that great in the air and doesn't rush out enough, but on his line, my oh my has he been fantastic.

Celtic played Man City in the NextGen tonight. Celtic won 4-2. From reading match reports and posts on celtic and city forums, celtic probably should have won by a greater margin. Paul George scored 2 and assisted on another. He's def one to look out for and he's even made his competitive debut for Celtic's first team. Dylan McGeouch also played in this match and was very good. He's on the fringes of Celtic's first team as well.

That's good to hear, I think he's the heir to Buffon's throne unless Viviano pulls a rabbit out of his hat

Liverpool just signed USA U-17 Marc Pelosi to the academy. Anyone know much about him?
