Does Fleury have to clear Waivers?

I bring this up in a new thread because of articles on TSN's (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=139590&hubname=nhl) and Sportsnet's (http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/hearsay.jsp) websites. Both site a provision in the new CBA that says any AHL/ECHL player who makes more than 75,000 has to clear waivers to be recalled. According to the Trib (http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/trib.../s_383982.html) Fleury makes 92,500 in the AHL. Does this mean he has to clear waivers to be sent down or called up?

Fleury doesn't have to because he is still on his first pro contract.

I believe the waiver rule is 3 full years of professional service time. So presumedly, at some point next season (2006/07) he would begin to need to clear waivers to be sent down.

That is interesting though that he makes 92,5. The 75k rule though is supposed to be on the way up? He must be exempt though, possibly because of the service time.

Anyone know if/why the league hasn't published the full text of the CBA?
