Manning, I don't know much about him, anyone think they'll give him a game here, or is he injured as well?
Neither has played in a game. Both are likely injured to some degree. The Flyers' roster released Saturday includes both players (and also the recent players cut who need to clear waivers):

Thanks MSE. I noticed a few games ago that you made the charts sortable by click and that is pretty awesome, so thanks again.

Looks like the majority of the opening night lineup will play tonight.

I think that is an NHL.com feature but...sure I did it.

Some of those players will be scratched. There is an excess listed.

Yeah, it appears Manning won't play tonight either, so he is probably injured as well. Not that it matters much, but I still don't understand why they aren't cut along with the rest.

It could be because of injuries.

Sam at the Inq. mentioned two players injured but he had "Roe" and not "Rowe" in addition to Manning.

His Twitter, yesterday, responding to a question about injured Flyers: Roe and Manning. Perhaps there is confusion with Roe and Rowe.

One change to the Rangers' lineup: Wojtek Wolski is out due to a sore groin. Carl Hagelin will replace him.

It would be cool if they wore the Winter Classic jerseys tonight. Or just announce them in any way

My guess: VERSUS shows it nationally; TCN-PH airs it in Philadelphia.

Versus blacked their last Flyers game out for me, preseason game #2, Maple Leafs.

I wound up using that time to watch teen mom with my girlfriend, It was a bad night for me.

is anyone else watching on gamecenter live? Holy cow.. i think if i were to listen to a whole game the commercial breaks would drive me crazy, hearing the same 1 minute song being played over and over again. I despise commercials but i think that is mind numbing after awhile

It's a new thing. Wasn't like that last year. It's killing me. And this makes, what, 5 games? Good lord....

Bill Clement just said that management is surprised with Couturier's defesive awareness. Ummm, after they selected him at the draft, all the panel raved about was his defensive responsibility and how he would give up points in order to be better defensively, and the fact that he was most proud of his +62 season in juniors(?) and being a 200ft hockey player. Don't the scouts, and more importantly, our GM know this going into preseason???
