Hockey Break mentioned Carl Gunnarsson is going to the Rangers possibly.

I don't know what you guys think might be going down.

But from a Rangers perspective, what do you guys think?

lolno, the Leafs aren't getting Dubinsky. There's pretty much nothing on their roster that would make me consider giving him up.

Leafs ain't getting no Dubi unless Kulemin is coming the other way.

I'd like Gunnarsson. 2nd rounder, maybe a mid-level prospect is what I've give. Otherwise, no thanks.

Back on topic, the Rangers could 110% use Carl Gunnarsson, especially with Sauer out. Erixon does not look ready. MDZ looks bad defensively. McIlrath should go back to juniors.

That leaves Bell and Eminger as the 3rd pairing? Ew.

Yeah, there is VERY little in Toronto that I would be okay with in return for Dubinsky and Kulemin is basically (off the top of my head) where that short list starts. If Dubinsky is dealt, especially after signing this summer, I will be very angry. I love the kid and I want him to be here for at least several more years. I know, he's not an offensive powerhouse and we DO need a bit more scoring, but I love what he brings (I know, we're deep in that department as well) and I just don't want to see him go anywhere.

I'm in favor of trading prospects/picks for complimentary pieces. If we're going to move a core guy like Dubinsky, I'd rather only consider it if it's part of a big time package (Dubinsky + Del Zotto + Kreider for a superstar) for a GAME BREAKER.
