So he called him a *** or turd pusher or he likes tube steak thats funny and remember avery is no angel he has said a few bad words in the past....................
really. i love how everyone's so high brow on a hockey forum. this is rediculous. p.s i agree with simmonds on avery. its true ya know. but back to reality. we have jagr. its insane. it's unbelievable how good our powerplay looks with someone who's not afraid to use his deadly shot. and back to the avery thing, this place needs to lighten up and get off its high horse. its hockey, dum dums

Avery said Simmonds called him a homophobic name. Simmons said Avery called him something "I wasn't happy with," but wldn't elaborate.
Well well, it seems Avery may have said something on his own. Jackass.
Nice game you guys. Just wondering about Briere, I felt a little sad for him not having someone who could complement his skill tonight. Voracek was really quiet, will Hartnell be enough to get Briere popping?

Reason: Not necessary
About the game, I feel like Harry Z isn't talked about enough. No world-beater, but I think he is very close, and he was being used in the last minute of the game, PK, and he reminds me of Alex Burrows.
And credit to Rinaldo too, if Holmgren told him to cut out the horse crap, he has done so. By doing so, he now has a better chance of making the team, if only out of attrition. He got away with one where he left his feet on a high hit, but the Rangers player got out of the way
the real story should be jagr, instead its nitwit avery, oooh, he said a bad thing about me. they also have avery on air saying he's going kill giroux.
Come on that is probably thrown around 100 times a game. You're overreacting a little bit.

Minor pro linesman tweets he hears homophobic slur once/game. Didn't say it was good. Didn't say it was bad. Merely enlightened us.
There ya go, and I'm sure it's more than just once per game.
It's really weird seeing Jagr though, mainly because it seems like most of what he does is just natural for him, and makes things look easy. I don't know if I'm going to be used to it .

A little weird but not much different then when we got Forsberg until his foot started becoming a big soap opera.
Beef is not a hater on Read. He just had to see the light This kid can play center or wing and hopefully he can carry this over into the regular season, It will be interesting who makes this squad. Although if guys keep getting suspended it will make it easy on the couch as to who makes the team.
Missed the game, but the highlights were certainly entertaining. If Campbell were still on the job, Sestito probably could have avoided a suspension by just saying, "I thought it was Avery." Seriously, I expect Sestito to be gone for the rest of the preseason and 5 games.
Jagr is exceeding my expectations so far. I hope this is a true reflection of what we can expect through the season and beyond.
