Atlantic Division (not including NYI), Habs, Caps. Leafs used to be my favorite rival but then they started to suck. I don't really consider them a rival anymore.
For me in the beginning it was St. Louis. They are the reason we are who we are to this day. Them and Ed Snider. For the last 37 years it has been the rags. I cannot stand anything associated with new york or that area. Following them in no particular order over the years have been the habs, bruins, leafs, oilers, flames(atlanta), isles, bevs, pens, sabres. But it will always be the rags #1.
PGH-Tops right now and best it's ever been. Fishlips is the most hated opponent in the 25+ years I've lived in the area. Worse than Chelios even.
NYR-Most consistent although it can sag when the Rags put out an edgeless lineup which happens a lot. Could use a playoff series to really spice things up again.
NJD-The game has passed Lou by and the sun has set for awhile on this rivalry.
NYI-Who? It used to be great.
BOS-Getting very hot again
MTL-Soft team but the playoffs have kept things kind of hot. What insults will Subban and Simmonds use on each other?
OTT-This one was smokin for awhile.
TOR-Same here.
BUF-Should maybe be hotter considering all the playoff meetups.
WSH and TB-Pretty good heat here.WSH and TB-Pretty good heat here.WSH and TB-Pretty good heat here...
Senators. March 5, 2004. Most penalty minutes incurred in a an NHL game? Helllloooo? Even Chico got in the scrum. Brash kicked arse and took names that night. Also, Markov scored the 10,000th goal in team history. I was there dudes, sitting in row 4 section 108. It was freakin' awesome!

I was there as well, and for 7+ years I've been trying to find the right adjective to describe it, and haven't.
Lately the habs have been up there, seems like there is some bad blood between the two teams (could be because we sent them packing our last two meetings in the playoffs).. maybe that changes now with the different players, although I doubt it.
Can I ask why the OP cares on who we hate? You don't seem to like us.
1. It may not matter much now but once the playoff race begins, I could cheer on the Flyers if a team you guys hate (other than Montreal) are in Montreal's way for a playoff spot (and playing the Flyers).
2. The Flyers seem to be second only to the Bruins on the Habs' rivalry chart today.
