I terribly miss CKAC playing as background noise while I studied... Langevin and Rainville were great, liked Fournier as well at night.

not really, there has been less drama, especially with all the losses this preseason. Less useless debates and useless speculation. I'm actually surprised how much influence that sports station actually had.

then again, lets wait and see what RDS has up their sleeves once regular season starts

As much as its fun once in a while to submerge to complete uselessness, alot of people took those speculations and sensationalism for real and would project it on here, on Facebook, etc.
The haters will have less tools from now on

I miss the morning show.
The "retour à la maison" with Villeneuve and cie still exists, it's on 95.X FM channel.

By the time that show airs, most of the people are already home.

That's what I was saying... We need Hab stuff on the radio from 4 to 5:30pm during the traffic jams.

(Sorry Melnick, you lose me with the baseball talk)

If this is the "English" reaction to losing CKAC, I can only imagine how pissed the French listeners feel at this loss.

I'm actually listening to CHOM again

All the best from CKAC is now on 98.5 fm.

The morning show was the groundhog day from day one.

We're back at wat was CKAC - now on a clearer frequency (for those who live around the city) - before Corus destroyed everything (closing info 690, music on 98.5fm and CKAC sports at night).

Even Jacques-dit-le-golfeur-Fabi is back!
