very nice work by Vityaz' goalie, even though he seems a bit undersized.

I was at the game and their goalie was very solid. Made a few great saves, lots of good ones.

I liked how some of Riga's forwards moved, especially was a bit shocked how good Tambievs-juniour played in the 1st. Roberts Bukarts was our obvious leader, his partners have feeded him pucks on a regular basis. Too bad we couldn't hold the score in the 3rd. 'Grats to Vityaz.

Could you, please, name our lines? I haven't had a chance to really follow HK RIga this season.

Yep, those were the lines Tambijev used. 1st line was mostly on the PP.

Wonder if Saprykin (that goalie from Vityazy) can be a come out of nowhere goalie for the WJC? MB he'll get a chance during the subway series.

Kostenko ('92) is on Bragin's radar, maybe some Krasnaya Armiya goalies: Brashkin ('92), Oseledec ('92).

I highly dobut that Oseledec and Brashkin will go anywhere, so far both of them lost their jobs to Volkvo who was born in 95.

That's the reason, why I am searching for new names, so far Saprykin and Suchkov are the ones I have dug up.

I cannot recall, but isn't there a top goalie in Ufa's system maybe in the MHL?

Vasilevskiy, his dad is a big shot in the federation and an ex-goalie, been pushing him all this time, he's 94 born, and some argue, that "top" is an overstatement.

Do you think Salavat Yulaev system? If so, as I know there is Khakimov (90) and Vasilevsky (94). First too old, second too young(??)
Toros (farm of SY) of VHL has Davydov (88) and Sachatsky (89)

I hope I understood your Q

2 vorky, he meant Vasilevskiy, I already answered him))) and I will not be surprised if Vasilevsky is on the roster for the WJC - he's being pushed hard.

as for the U18 Challenger Cup - it's in Chelyabinsk this year in march and it's actually a tournament, not an all-star game like you and some here thought.
