Just a interesting bit, this whole Rangers "circus" cost Sparta about 800 000$ , thats 1/10 of their season budget.

Also, some photos from the game

Well it looks like a full house, I'm sure ticket sales will help

Btw, the ice looks pretty good, and without all those awful ads.

funny thing is the A lineup upfront was in today but tommorow I am sure Hagelin, Bourque, Mitchell, Newbury likely get in. Maybe Avery if he is healthy enough. Boyle may as well sit it out to be safe.

Also Rosen tweeted Staal practicing with Pack tommorow and if it goes well he is flying overseas ........crosses fingers

At first I was bummed that I got home from work and missed most of the game, then I realized it wasn't televised. Awkward translations are funny though.

IMO who cares how they perform on bigger ice surface? Great they could be Euro All Stars, but they aren't and play on an NHL surface, kinda a stupid bunch of compliments from Torts. He's likely just trying to boost confidence in TE & MDZ

because boosting the confidence of professional athlete's without reason has been Torts forte?

I think its nice for Torts to see these players on a bigger ice surface because he can see the potential in the kids, sure they have to get better used to the smaller ice surface but he can see how they use their line partners on the ice when there is more room and they will adapt to making the room with more icetime.

Its really not as useless as you make it seem.

Not sure if this was posted here yet so what the hell...

RANGERS IMPRESSED BY TESLA ARENA CROWD

PRAGUE -- The noise behind Martin Biron in the second period Thursday night was unlike anything he's familiar with.

It was an entire section of fans singing songs, chanting and banging on drums. All this despite that their team was in the process of losing a 2-0 game to the New York Rangers.

Biron and the Rangers quickly found out that's just the way they are at Tesla Arena.

Good, bad or indifferent for HC Sparta Prague, the fans are going to make noise.

Not to get any of you guys mad but why can't we be like that? When im at games and the Rangers are doing bad or are losing by a goal people start booing and bringing the team down. Why can't we keep cheering for the team and maybe give them some momentum? Ive never booed the team for the last 10 years that I have been going to games and don't plan on it anytime soon...

Because according to some here singing is what pansy europeans do.

Personally I love the atmosphere, and so do the players. Simple answer is the fans simply arent dedicated enough here to do it on a consistent basis.

Exactly. And MSG is always filled with too many busniessmen who aren't really into the game....

European crowds 1/3 the size of MSG capacity obliterates the loudest LETS GO RANGERS chants on a nightly basis. The only way to get the same experience in the US is at some of the crazier college rivalries.
