Veilleux spent a lot of time with the Wild.

New goal song sounds like a rave.

If Jagr stays healthy, he will be fine. He'll get at least 60 points, and Holmgren will sign him for 6 more years with a NMC.

Probably my new fav as well. He was my second favorite nonFlyer (Clutterbuck is number 1) before he got here so I was VERY pumped to get him.

I know there is a lot of Matt Read love, but I just do not see it. I think he does not have enough sand in his pants.

Like everyone else, I love Simmons.

i'm really like the flyers size and speed now. It looks like they got bigger and faster. We are gonna be able to grind out some games this year. Simmonds throws his body around to get guys off pucks, unlike previous 17. I'm liking it

He is off a bit tonight for sure. Not as bad as the first period of the second preseason game, but he is off none the less. He seems to get better as the games goes on though so there is still time.

Yes. It was the plan prior to game time. Split the duties.

Simmonds was great that last shift, but he should keep his head up a little bit more. At one point earlier in the game a Devil (forget who, maybe Fayne?) would have taken his head off had it been a really important game, the same goes for Couturier who strolled through the neutral zone with his head down one shift. I really don't want us to lose them to year-long concussions.

Anyway, a lot better this period. Good to see the pp continue to work well.

Voracek can be really strong along the boards and really should use his strenght and size more. I think he has been pretty good so far though.

Also, Rinaldo can do other things than just fight. He flopped pretty damn good at one time there (when Zolnierczyk got his penalty).
