Hilarious Comments about the Preds...

This idea was taken from the Minnesota board.

This isn't meant for flaming, trolling, or any of the other non-sense that sometimes we like to take part in (some users more than others). This is more of a face-palming, they really said that, head shaking thread that we can laugh at.

Please don't include the user name who makes the posts, just add what they said.

Haha recently I've seen a lot of people saying Nashville losing Joel Ward is going to cause them to miss the play offs...

They should go back and watch a few games. I think Wardo was under the impression that the season didn't begin until mid April.

(Yes, I realize he had a decent stretch of 10 or so games in the regular season.)

I dont remember the exact post, but someone proposed a Suter for something trade (trade was actually decent if I remember) and did our D pairings afterwards as:

Weber-Laakso
Blum-Ellis
Sloan-Boullion

or something like that. It was disgusting

Weber just isn't in Phanuef's league offensively.

Oh god, I hate reading the leafs board even though I'm from toronto. The chance on finding a level-headed logical leaf fan on these boards is like 1/50. One guy was saying that because Lombardi is coming back so soon the preds organization needs to fire their medical staff for not making a proper analysis. Big 'ol facepalm. I'll just stick to the BlueJays subthread for now.

The people who assume concussion recoveries are predictable are the same people who stop watching their local news because they have a beef with the weatherman for being wrong. They probably watch every piece of **** History Channel show on Nostradamus, too, believing every word of it because it's on the History Channel.

I remember BluesConvert. That guy would come out of no where ever so often to post an essay that was actually very insightful. It would be nice if he came back

From a thread about waiver pick up Chris Mason

"I'm really dissapointed with the pickup of Mason if it means we lose Lasak. I thought we had a nice young goaltender."

From a thread about a young Erat

"Apparently, Poile and Trotz like to fill our team with non-creative, low offense guys like Jeremey Stevenson instead of playing a highly creative, fiesty players like Erat".

So you're suggesting that the now, in hindsight, it's blatantly obvious that we should be playing Stevenson over Erat? Now, that is HILarious.

Preds won't make the playoffs this year. Pick a year any year and insert.

I hate the comments of how Poile only offered $4.75M for Weber at the arbitration hearing, therefore we won't be able to keep him.

We don't have the tube in my house. The reruns of "Leave It To Beaver" and "M*A*S*H" got boring after a while.

I know you've got to turn around and sell that joke for a hearty laugh, but the best I could do is a mild chuckle today.
