Budaj got danced out of his skates on that one. This guy is horrible and we paid more to get him than we did for Auld? Who the hell made that decision?!? lol

Martin wanted to get his lines together for the regular season I'm thinking after the TB lead, Gallagher played well with Gomez and Pleks, maybe Martin wants to see if there is chemistry with nay centre. But, Gionta didn't fair well with a poor DD and AK tonight either.

Are you happy with this ****** exhibition of hockey given to us compliments of Jacques Martin?

On D, the Bolts attack the Habs player with the puck. When we are on D, we typically play in a passive zone.

Well, 1-6 in the Pre-season. I hope this isn't something to get worried about.

Methinks that was a test. Methinks that in the regular season, that matchup doesn't happen.
glad someone noticed.

again, it's preseason and martin is testing DD and AK against one of the best line in the league.

with predictable results...

They were also on the ice for the penalty call against Subban.

It looks like Martin threw that line into the deep end tonight and they couldn't keep their heads above water.

True, which in the end means....Gallagher was NEVER in the plans to begin with. No matter how he did, if Martin wants his lines to play together....We all know Gallagher does NOT fit with Desharnais. And Eller doesn't start the year.

Pretty interesting thanks, thats why I want Eller at centre and Desharnais at wing, Eller was so gold at shutdowning opposing l'une during the playoff.

Note : I hate langdeau

Tampa only had sustained possession when Desharnais was on the ice. When that line was not on, the game was very even with chances heading back and forth. If I'm not mistaken I believe Desharnais was on the ice for 3 goals as well as the first one that was blown down, his line got dominated.

I'm sad after this game. I liked Desharnais a lot and i was thinking he was ready but... A lot of you were right... He can't handle first or second line duty

I'd switch Kostitsyn with Gill.

At least Kostitsyn made a couple of passes that led to scoring chances in the first.

This pre-season should just be renamed "Chill out hockey"

I've never heard those two words said as much as I have in the past two weeks.

"Chill out" is now synonymous with "in denial".

We are a very poorly prepared team.

Its tough not to get worried/frustrated, especially when a lot of our key players were in tonight, as a whole we looked pretty awful offensively we couldn't finish, poor defense all around including goaltending, but its only pre-season !

Gallagher isn't ready yet anyways guys. He showed a lot of promise for a 5th round pick with his size but he's got some maturing to do in his game. He'll be good for us, but not yet.

Yes because somehow the other 5 losses containing 85% of players that will not play on the habs this year is a reflection on the actual team that will play.
