So not a single one wears any Jewish "flare" on their sleeves?

I just of course, but I'm curious as to how you could know the religious affiliation of all students.

Hank will get a mighty welcoming.

Personally I hope Rangers destroy Frölundas goalies confidence so that some SEL teams can start scoring on them.

Yeah, and you mention the year 1995 too.

Up untill like the mid 90's, all teams were exclusively called like the city name and then like Ice Hockey Organization. Like, Luleĺ Hockey Förening, which translates to Luleĺ Icehockey Organization. And thats what they were called.

Then, as the game became more of a business, teams started to market themselves under names like Indians or Bears or such. But its very seldomly used and basically only marketed towards kids.

HV71 Blue Balls Bulls.

Nevar forget.

I have to admit, after all these years I still find the American way of naming sports teams incredibly lame. It's probably one of the reasons i became a Rangers fan in the first place.

I don't care if it has a connection to the city, area and/or team, it sounds/looks retarded. The only good logos in NHL history are the Rangers and the Whalers because they look like proper shields.

I'm not 100% sure, but everyone is asian (east asian) I even know an east asian jew, but it's not too common

it just surprised me a little, because I never had off before

I'm watching them next Saturday before the Rangers/Ducks game. Haven't seen an SEL game before so looking forward to back-to-back games. Doing Rangers/Kings too.

Anyway, win this one for Hank... or just stop Joel scoring.

Send a message via Skype™ to BBKers
I will go to both NYR games in Stockholm as I am fortunately there at that time. Maybe in a lounge box with Mats Sundin

Who is playing then? That's pretty much our starting lineup sitting out.

jeez

Erixon-Del Zotto
Bickel - McIlrath
Partlett - Bell

Not necessarily those pairings but damn. And that's assuming Partlett can play. Pretty sure those are the only other defensemen in camp

for fowards they'd have

Bourque-Christensen-Hagelin
Avery-Newbury-Mitchell
Prust-Rupp-Zucarello
Wolski - ?? - Weiss

Again obviously not real lines, but...dunno if I"m missing someone but they'd be short a forward

Joel is actually a veteran of (134) NHL games over 3 seasons with the Stars.

Will venture a guess that Avery and Boyle play tonight with Hagelin, Weise, Newbury, Mitchell and Bourque. All seven did not play Thursday.

It makes sense: you have 4 games in 4 countries over 5 days.

At this point, it'd be a surprise if we won this game. Henrik will have to stand on his head.

Yeah, the defense and lines are such a mess that Lundqvist will probably have to steal one. No worries though

And damn, forgot about Boyle for some reason

I will be there tonight and in Stockholm for the game Saturday.

Super pumped to see the Rangers for the first time live despite being a fan since about 15 years ago.

Will likely be getting beers at Stage door or somewhere nearby before the game. I will be the handsome looking gentlemen in my early 30's trying to get wasted as fast as possible.

That is an amazing self description... If this were a game in NY that I was going to, I would be buying you a beer...

Ha, thanks. Will have to keep it in mind.

A bit ironic I'm American and my first games ever will be in Sweden. That's what happens when you grow up in Oregon...

By the way - if anyone is interested I hear the Rangers are going out to Lounge tonight after the game.

Really Torts? Scratching the top two lines? For Henrik's homecoming? Of the 4 European teams, this is the only game that means something to one of your players Torts. Surprised he would do Henrik like that.
