Any swedes here know what the swedish announcers just said about Kreider? I really like listening to the swedish broadcast, even though I don't understand what they're saying. Much more interesting than listening to the english broadcast.

They started with talking about the level of competition in NHL, where Zuccarello dominated in SEL, but is working hard just to gain a spot on the roster on the Rangers. They just mentioned Chris Kreider is a young, very promising player who chose not to play in the AHL/ NHL (this season).

They also discussed the option Hagelin chose, going to play College hockey instead of playing in SEL, mentioning Douglas Murray did the same. They spoke about that the enviroment to develop in College is nothing to scoff at, Boumedienne talked about the resources these teams have and how much big of a crowd they have at their games.

A funny thing about the svt broadcast. Just as much as they have made play-by-play announcing they have used alot of the time just talking random things about the nhl, and they used so much english vocabulary that they at times started pronouncing swedish with an english accent

He's bee sloppy with the puck. Physical. Got called for roughing when he gave Joel a few whacks for getting to close to Henrik, but that was a pretty soft call (it was the kind of thing that happens after 50% of dead plays in the NHL).

Chris, who is the colour commentator, mentioned that Kreider is a player that would be good enough to play in the NHL if he wanted to.

Anyone watching the Swedish feed? What's Hank saying? And what did Joel say that got the laugh?

Also... once again, screw you MSG for dumping out. You left the end of the game faster than NBC does.

Look at this great stuff, Hank going into the crowd signing autographs and giving the stick to a toddler. No one watching MSG is seeing this.

Joel is just not as good looking as his brother. Which is weird since they're identical twins.

Hagelin-Newbury-Bourque looks like a good line for the Whalepack. Both of the rookies need some seasoning in the AHL but the hustle is definitely there.

Lines next Friday in Stockholm will probably look something like this ?

Wolski-Richards-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan
Fedotenko-Stepan-Zuccarello
Rupp/Avery-Boyle-Prust

Del Zotto is playing himself into the D so far, Erixon is still a bit iffy but considering the injury situation, he might sneak in unless Sather/Torts want to bring in another veteran to fill in.

When are the next cuts ?

Couldnt hear what Joel said but Henrik basically said that he had a hard time focusing in the first period due to emotions.

Public Television ftw

Sorry, didn't hear what Joel said that was so funny
Henrik was saying the first period was hard to play because he was shaken up by the crows support, how he almost started to cry and then he just thanked everybody and said how fun the whole thing was.

Hank says he wasn't as focused as he usually is going into this game. Explains the early blooper.

Hank talked about the emotions and thoughts flowing through his head. It was very emotional for him, he almost started crying at one point. He said he tried to prepare mentally for this, but how could he? He talked about his last game in Frölunda (winning the championship), he remembers it very well, fondly and what his time (t)here meant to him. And yeah, as others mentioned, explains why he didn't look sharp in the 1st.

In New York, Hank is king. In Frölunda, Hank is God.

I didn't get it all, but some.

Joel was disappointed with his game, he felt he didn't play to his capacity. I think the laugh came he was asked if it wasn't fun to play a game like this one, which he admitted with a laugh that it really was.

Henrik, sad that a lot of thought went through his head at the ice waiting for the game to start. The first period he was kind of rusty and felt clunky. He also said that he tried to prepare himself for this game, but it didn't really work out that well - probably because he was rather moved.

The thing Joel said that made them laugh was something like "He'll continue to be cocky now".
