Isn't Immonen a natural center and that is what he has been his whole career? I wouldnt change that. Once one of our centers goes down with an injury he'll be called up. No need to rush him, he's doing fine in the AHL anyway.

I guess Sunshine...

the point is you'd ideally like to see those guys in, but unforunately, they just don't work. I don't know if you'd want to change Immonen's career path for the one or two years Rucchin's here. Ideally you'd like to see him as the second line center, and hopefully he can somehow work his way into the lineup, but there is one of three other centers who would have to lose a job, most likely, which would be tough at this point.

No need to bring Immonen up unless he's going to play, and that's just not doable right now because of the way everybody is playing......Same with Hollweg...

I think there's too much smoke around Lundmark that he won't be dealt and out of the equation, but will another similar enigmatic NHL type player be brought in return or will a multi-player trade bring back an even better forward or a D-man..???

Even with Lundmark, the way I see it is the following....

Immonen get called up if one of the 4 centers goes down or Moore starts to fizzle...

Federov will come up if injury or poor play strikes Hossa, Prucha.....

Hollweg comes up if Niemenin, Ward or Ortmeir gets hurt....

Besides shifting a few players up and down the lines depending on the opponent, I wouldn't touch anything. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

No point in changing anything now when everyone is playing well together. Immonen looks like he'll get his chance sooner or later.
