Schumacher with a pair of PP goals for the Soo at the end of the second. Interesting note, his player profile page lists him at 6'5 which I'm more inclined to believe compared to the Kings site. The kid is BIG.

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/roster/show/id/9125

Here's hoping he can pull a trick in his first game in the O.

Edit: It looks like the Kings have updated Schumacher's profile page and lists him at 6'5.

Jordan Weal with two goals tonight for Regina Pats. He has 4 points (2G & 2A) in two games.

Weal is wearing an "A".

Maxim Kitsyn has only one assist in 6 games.

Is this with the his KHL club or is he still in the MHL? Alos what type of ice time has he been getting? I know it's ususally difficult for younger players to get decent ice time in the KHL...

KHL. 11 minutes per game for Kitsyn. In last game he got in his 2nd fight this season against Oskar Osala and got beaten up by a big finn. Osala is 4 years older and is 6'4 227 lbs with fighting experience from OHL and AHL, so kudos to Kitsyn for not being afraid.

Interesting.

Not to worried about his ice time. I see Kitsyn kinda like Forbort, not expected to contribute anything for atleast 2-3 years. Let him mature and bring him in later.

True but in Kitsyn's case it's nice to now he can put up those numbers in limited ice time and it's always interesting to see what sort of role he plays on the team. The KHL doesn't register secondary assists still like the old RSL did correct?

Someone needs to update the prospect list, I'm so lost now lool. Last year I was able to check every weekend how our prospects did, now I have no clue where anyone is.

Tyler Toffoli, Ottawa 67s (OHL)
Michael Schumacher, Sault Ste. Marie (OHL)

Jordan Weal, Regina Pats (WHL)

Chris Gibson, Chicoutimi (QMJHL)

Derek Forbort, NCAA
Nick Shore, NCAA
Kevin Gravel, NCAA

I know I'm missing alot, can someone help me?

Alex Roach, Calgary Hitmen

Joel Lowry, NCAA

Nic Dowd, NCAA

The other notables are either playing in Europe (Kitsyn, Moller, Holloway) or Manchester

The first two charts on the first page of this thread are the updated list. There just aren't many prospects in the CHL this year, the only one you are missing is Alex Roach from the Calgary Hitmen. A large number of them are in the NCAA at the following schools:

Forbort-North Dakota
Michael Mersch-Wisconsin
Nick Shore-Denver
Joel Lowry-Cornell
Nic Dowd and Kevin Gravel-St. Cloud State

That's really it as far as prospects in those leagues go, Kitsyn, Holloway, and Moller, and Elkins are all playing in Europe and the rest are all in camp at Manchester for now.

Or exactly what KP said...

Toffoli has 2G and 2A in his second game of the season. Ottawa winning 8-2 early in the third period. Not a bad night and start to the season for the kid.

Dowd scored SCSU's first goal of the season tonight. Gravel was very solid defensively, he'll be one of our leaders back there this year.

Scored a bit of a soft one. Goalie made a save on a weak shot and gave it right back to him and he went top shelf.

So far Toffoli has 10 points in 5 games.
Schumacher has 5 points in 7 games. Not bad for a rookie.
