I certainly wouldn't say this series is over. But this is the last team i wanted to face in the NL.

There are buses arriving every four minutes at all major Philly intersections headed for one of the major bridges... for those who have now conceded this game and series to the Red Birds. The fare is free... please feel free to hop aboard.

Mustering 3 runs and tying the game would feel like a miracle. The offense is a disaster, the same as it was 365 days ago.

This is a $173,000,000 line-up that hits like a little league team.

anyone else feel the microphones at homeplate that TBS has going is making everything sound odd? The balls hitting the catchers mitts/coming off the bat all sound like broken bats and even the homerun ball didn't sound right... or am I just hearing things?

lol once through the lineup and everyone is ready to commit suicide. Relax guys, Halladay has settled in and it's still very early. Remember, it's Kyle ****ing Lohse, not Roger Clemens. Everything will be ok.

Why is this line up so much different?
IMO should be :
Rollins
Polanco/victorino
Utley
Howard
Pence
Ibanez
Polanco/Victorino
Ruiz
Pitcher

Phils can score some runs on the cards bullpen but the problem is lohse is at like 55 pitches through 5 innings. phils need to put together better at bats or they won't get a chance to see the cards pen. two runs is nothing but the game is officially past the halfway point.

Charlie changed it a little while back cause utley has been struggling. the 3rd spot is typically reserved for the teams best hitter and that has been pence. i have no doubt that utley will be back in the 3rd hole eventually but it may not be until next season.

I dont want Rollins leading off, he is to undisciplined. That and I want Mayberry starting.

If that's the reason, switch Utley and Pence in my lineup.. Utley there makes more sense than victorino..

But of course any scrub put in that position could do that... according to SabreStats.
