Jets Website....Is it still a work in progress?

Hey folks, welcome back....as a former Winnipeg resident was excited at the return of the Jets. Anyways the website....does anyone know if that's it? I realize the team is on a different timeline then the rest of the league so this might be reason for the lackluster website, but does anyone know if over time it will be up to par with other teams.
Just for comparison sake go to some other teams site and compare...some of my favorite are the Sabres, the Kings, the Wild....even so average sites(imo) like the Flames and Canucks and the Canes are much slicker than the Jets....don't mean to be one of those whiners ......but to me the website is still 2nd rate.

Go Jets Go

I would imagine it's a work in progress, as is just about everything at this point in time.

That's my hunch/hope.....if six month's from now things look the same, guess I can start the whining and hand wringing

Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about. The only difference I can really pick up is the Jets' site has a bit less content than other teams' sites. Likely a result of them expanding their PR team by a factor of 2 or 3 in four months.

Other than that, every team uses the same template. The only thing I can think of that makes other teams' sites look 'slick' to you is that you think their team colours are cooler.

Even look at cfl.ca 's site. I mean, what the heck, I am a coder and don't see what you see. Some sites start with a flash intro page, whoopidy doo. Slows down your computer if you're on an older machine. Colours and graphics can throw off people, but the Jets site is really no different from any other. And perhaps it maybe lacking in areas, simply because it is a newer site and they are expanding in that area. So basically everything the quoted poster said.

I agree every team uses the same template. But with content, colour, varying colour's, fonts etc one team with same foundational template can look a fair bit different than the next. For example just have a look at the Sabres and the more understated TB Lighting (both sites I like) - yes the template is the same but with the content, fonts, colours etc their is a fair bit of room for creativity. Like I said, Wpg is unique with the fact it just entered the league again. My other favorite team the St Blues don't have this excuse, could me just nitpicking but I'd like to see a sharp site along with and more importantly a winning team

Anyone remember when they wanted questions for "Ask a Jet" that they would ask Andrew Ladd?

What ever happened with that?
