Streit, back in full form ?

Hi ! Habs fan coming in peace !

I was just wondering about one of my favorite former habs, MArk Streit. How is he looking in camp ? Strong ? Does his shot look as good as before ? for fantasy purposes, what king of numbers do you guys expect from him ? 55-60 ?

* couldn't find any info ; if I missed it, I apologize.

Doesn't look rusty at all. Expect anywhere from 45 to 65 points...as usual.

Flames fan here,

Another player I'm curious about is Nabokov, how's he doing? He looked fairly decent in the game he played against us. Will he be the starter?

I think he'll be on the high side of that range.

He's flying out there and he'll be on every PP that will be dangerous with an emerging Tavares, Moulson, Okposo, Grabner - and others.

I'd forgotten how good he is. Haven't seen a defenseman carry the puck out of danger and jump in on the rush in a long time.

Its between him DP and Montoya. Montoya has played the best of all three. Nabakov and DP have been about even. Poulin though has been really good, and if he wasn't like 20 I would use him with Monty. Too early for any one to know what the Isles end up doing. But those three seem to be the prime candidates.

Based on some of the Twittering tonight, it sure as hell seems like Montoya has played the best.

Where are they gonna put Al, if not on the Island?

They already have 3 down in BPort. They're certainly NOT sending a 4th down.

Simply put, Nabokov must be moved ASAP. Any length of time doing a goalie threesome will only make each of the three less and less sharp.

I think the players should aim for DP's knees during warmups. Al has done the best of the three and Nabokov is one year removed from 40+ wins with San Jose. Rick? He has a long contract we can't do anything about. Where does that rank him?

I trade Nabby if we can bring up Poulin to stay, but that's if he's just lights out amazing and we can't afford to not have him up.

The plan is the Stanley Cup. What two are best for us to get there?

In that, DP should be the third string trying to prove he doesn't suck like a 4.XX GAA goalie who can't stay healthy. Thus.....you can't trade Nabokov to give the third string more time unless you're after a better lottery finish.

I don't think DP can get any worse then his 3.44 GAA he got last year. I am guessing his average will be anywhere from 2.60-2.80 this season

The point is the onus is on him to prove his 2.60 GAA and overall play is better for us than Monty or Nabby's play.

But....he's already been named starter. Or something. Same ol' BS. I just want whoever earns their starts to get them.
