5 Flyers Named to Hockey Canada Olympic Long List

5 guys made the hockey canada long list for the olympics: Eric Desjardins, Simon Gagne, Keith Primeau, Jeff Carter, and Mike Richards...i think thats pretty amazing!!

too bad gagne will probably be the only one that makes it


surprising to see carter, desjardins and richards on the list though

I dunno, Primeau has a shot due to his defensive ability alone. If he can elevate himself up to where he was in the playoffs last time around he might be a lock.

I hope none of them make it, or anyone else for that matter. Use the break to get your legs back and rest up for the final stretch. Winning the Division title is just as important as it was last year and could mean the difference between the first round and the third.

if you had the chance to represent your country, you'd do it in a second, especially if it was in hockey at the olympics

Definately, but it could still negatively affect the Flyers. For the players it's an added risk that I hate to see them take.
