Hopefully he continues to play like this, because we need an SOB on our team. Cannot wait till hes paired with Subban. Loved the pick then, love it now.
the way tinordi skated in camp and battled to a draw with smith of the sens - a legitimate middle weight who served horton his lunch last year - was very impressive

In two more years with Tinordi heavier and stronger guys like Smith will stay away from Tinordi.
When Tinordi was drafted I was hoping he'd turn into a defenseman who is miserable to play against. Someone who is a total p***k on the ice, imposing himself physically on the opposition. While this is only a single isolated example, it makes me smile to see that he is developing in that direction, or at least acting his role. Some people are very hard on him because of the type of player he is. He might not develop as fast as some of his more skilled/offensive counterparts, but I think he'll turn out just fine.
Let just say that the hit was impressive. Good timing, not to the head, solid and timely hit.
But people the fight....there's nothing to it. He took a 6'0'' already bad fighter into a ragdoll....okay....That's just like saying Ryan Malone is an awesome fighter just because he ate Gorges alive....
I think that what we have to love reading is a tweet I read about Tinordi looking incredibly composed and with a lot of poise. THAT's crucial this year. Don't care how many points he gets, but he needs to DOMINATE defensively. Nothing less.
Just hope that the ones excited by this are not the same ones who are mentioning that our Habs are perfect as it is....Personnally, I can't wait to see Tinordi doing that with us...along with 5 or 6 others.
The hit was impressive the fight not so much but my intention with this video was to show that finally Montreal has a imposing player who plays imposing / hard!
Great hit but he lets a man behind him who ends up with a great scoring chance while he's busy making a big hit. That kind of stuff can only fly in junior.
Nice to see him dominate though. He'll learn coverage in Hamilton next year.

Well he figured it would lead to a whistle stop as a fight broke out
So, a somewhat late hit on a guy that didn't have the puck anymore and a win in a fight against a dude that's 7 inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter... Can't say that I'm impressed. Don't get me wrong; I don't dislike Tinordi, but he'll have to prove that he can do that against full-grown men in a professional league before I get excited by this (or the odd man-child in junior ala Zach Kassian).
Give me a break buddy... it was less than a second after he got rid of the puck. A "somewhat late hit" is complete ********.

That was his partner's man. When he makes the hit there are 4 opponents in front of him.
That was fricking awesome!!! Jarred rocked him, but hats off to Corrado for stepping in (Even if he got pummelled and the hit was clean). Jarred's up to 220 LBS now, another 25-30 pounds would be beast. Excited for this guy. Very excited.

Read the rest of the thread. I pointed out that the play is legal and also pointed out like goman that blowing your coverage on a guy just to hit somebody that doesn't even have the puck anymore is not something you want to see in the NHL. Again, a nice hit, but I prefer hits when the guy and the puck are stopped.

As a coach, yes i like the momentum these hits bring. Sorry.
