But, I could be wrong.
As an Oiler fan, the potential to bite us is probably lower than the risk of keeping him (injuries, team almost at maximum contract limit).

I can't see why an NHL would want Brule. Guy is dime-a-dozen player and other won't cost 1,85 per year.

Overpriced... but a change of scenery could help turn things round for him

I'm a Brule-hater through and through, but will admit he's got skill and grit. He's an NHL player when healthy (sans mysterious flu)... moreso than NHL-AHL tweeners like Frattin, Schremp, O'Marra, Rosehill, etc.

He probably clears tho.

He'd get creamed in WIN. Creme Brule....

Wellwood would eat him alive

Frattin can play and you'll understand how wrong you are in a few weeks.

Rosehill also has proven he can play a regular shift and be physical. He's also not afraid to go with the leagues heavyweights. Had a good tilt with Shelley and cut him. He plays a role -- nobody except the foolish expect anymore from him.

He will clear. WAY to big of pricetag for anyone to pick him up as a reclaimation project.

He sure does have some nice tools, but just hasn't been able to put it all together yet. Sometimes a big salary can hurt a player in the long run. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery...but he wont get it.

Believe we have to wait until tomorrow. If placed on waivers before deadline Sunday. It maybe 48 hours on waivers, I would think weekend waivers applies to Sunday as well as Sat, could be wrong. If they missed it then he falls under todays waivers, so will clear tomorrow also.
