Probably. Plus, maybe some kind of rivalry between the two young stars. They are probably giving the best they have against one another.

A skirmish, hmmph.

Call me when there is a haymaker and a litre of blood spilled. That would make it something that hasn't happened in every other training camp in NHL history.

Things like that happen all the time, I am not worried. But I am curious about a sentence in another article on the same website:

« Ce genre de retraite fermée peut nous permettre de découvrir de nouveaux leaders, a souligné Mathieu Darche. Du moins, ça nous confirme certaines choses. Il y avait de petits problèmes à régler à notre arrivée ici dimanche soir et Brian Gionta a vite pris la situation en mains. »

http://fr.canoe.ca/sports/nouvelles/...04-031604.html

Problems already?

Same quote for the french impaired:

This kind of private retreat can allow us to discover new leaders, said Mathieu Darche. At least it confirms some things. There were small problems to solve when we arrived here Sunday evening and Brian Gionta quickly took the situation in hand.

Like wolves in a pack, there is always testing of the pecking order.

Small problems could be very very small, but the principal word PROBLEMS, is always exaggerated.

McGuire said on the air today that it was some fictional problems to solves... It was an exercise as part of their team building thing, NOT "problems" as in things going bad. Man people are sometimes crazy in Montreal lol.

I had to use google translate but assuming that says that Gionta took care of some little problems... perhaps they were having difficulties arranging a carpool to swiss chalet. It doesn't have to be anything that is dividing the locker room.

I bet Max wouldn't try that if Subban had an enforcer on his team. When will this garbage stop against us!

<<Andrei Markov, Travis Moen et Ryan Moen ne s’entraînent toujours par avec leurs coéquipiers, mais ils sont à Collingwood. Moen pourrait toutefois le faire aujourd’hui.>>

LOL, how many Moen do we have?

I love that video. The girl is smiling, wonder if she's thinking they are joking around. The cop is seriously a bit worried. The man on the left is "I am satisfied"

but yeah..Patches looks a bit freaked out tbh.

Didn't look intentional. Plus, Pacioretty changes direction prior to the contact. Therefore, no suspension.

Non story. I'll even bet that the first Habs goal this year will be Pac assisted by PK.

Don't they test for that in the NHL now?

PK did leave that knee out there. It was a pretty dumb thing to do.

Off topic though.

So yes.. this really means nothing to me. Kinda happens.. remember Lapierre and Cammalleri last year and Ribeiro and Koivu..

oh.. wait...

So which gets traded soon?
